Provided is a door weather strip wherein protrusions are provided to the outer opening edges of slits in the basal section of an attachment base section so as to enhance the rigidity of the opening edges of the slits, and, as a result, opening deformation of the slit opening edges when a door is closed is suppressed such that reduction in seal performance can be prevented. This door weather strip comprises a molded part 11b provided with: an attachment base section 22 that is attached to an inner panel 3a of a front door; and a hollow seal section 23 that is provided integrally with the attachment base section and that elastically contacts a vehicle body panel 6 when the door is closed. Three slits 28-30 are separately formed in the longitudinal direction in the basal section 26 of the attachment base section, said basal section 26 abutting the inner panel. Protrusion pairs 31-33 running in the longitudinal direction are provided to the outer opening edges 28a-30a of the three slits so as to enhance the rigidity of the outer opening edges, and, as a result, opening deformation is suppressed.
In an anti-vibration rubber composition containing natural rubber (NR) and/or isoprene rubber (IR) and butadiene rubber (BR) as main rubber components, when the total rubber component is 100 parts by mass, it contains 1.8 to 5 parts by mass of 2-mercaptobenzimidazole zinc salt, 0.2 to 1.1 parts by mass of N,N′-Di-2-naphthyl-p-phenylenediamine, 0.2 to 0.7 parts by mass of sulfur as a vulcanizing agent and 2 to 7 parts by mass of tetrakis(2-ethylhexyl)thiuram disulfide as a sulfur donor compound.
The present invention comprises: an attachment base part 22 that is attached to a flange part 2 obtained by superposing a plurality of metal panels formed along a door opening edge of a vehicle body, and that has a vehicle-interior-side lateral wall 23, a vehicle-exterior-side lateral wall 24, and a connection wall 25 connecting said lateral walls to each other; a hollow seal part 26 that is provided integrally with the outer surface of the attachment base part and that elastically makes contact with the door; and a holding lip 27 in which a base end part 27a thereof is coupled to the inner surface of the vehicle-interior-side lateral wall and in which one lateral surface 27c of a leading end part 27b thereof elastically makes contact with a vehicle-interior-side lateral surface 2a of the flange part. A notch part 29 is provided at a position closer to the base-end-part side as compared to the one lateral surface of the leading end part of the holding lip, and the leading end part is formed so as to be bendable via said notch part. As the leading end part of the holding lip elastically makes contact and closely adheres with the vehicle-interior-side lateral wall of the flange part via the notch part, it is possible to suppress the transmission and intrusion of noise into the vehicle-interior side from the interior of the attachment base part.

This automotive weatherstrip comprises a welt portion 12 which is formed with a substantially U-shaped cross section by connecting a pair of leg portions 14, 15 together using a connecting portion 16, a core material 17 being embedded inside the welt portion 12, and a hollow sealing portion 13 provided integrally on an upper surface of the connecting portion, wherein the welt portion is fitted and held on a flange portion 04 located at a peripheral edge of a trunk room opening portion 01, and a trunk lid 02 is brought into pressure contact with the hollow sealing portion to seal the trunk room opening portion. A projecting portion having a rigidity that is the same as or greater than that of at least the connecting portion is provided on an upper surface of the connecting portion, to suppress collapse deformation of a tip end portion 13a of the hollow sealing portion when attached to a bent part. This makes it possible to suppress collapse deformation of the tip end portion of the hollow sealing portion when bent, by increasing the rigidity of the welt portion around the connecting portion by means of the projecting portion.

An inner space and its opening are provided between the outer peripheral portion and the holding portion such that, when the glass run is attached to a window frame, the end flange portion of the outer panel is inserted into the inner space from the opening, and then the supporting portion is brought into abutment against a tip end of the end flange portion of the outer panel. It is possible to suppress flexural deformation of the outer peripheral portion, thereby improving the glass run in external appearance.

A grommet G according to the present invention is provided with, on the outer side of a second flexible portion 22, a padding portion 4. With this, of a pressing force F which acts from the cylindrical base part 1 side to the seal portion 3 side, a panel parallel component F1 parallel to a dash panel DP is hardly transmitted. On the other hand, a panel vertical component F2 vertical to the dash panel DP is easily transmitted. Consequently, the panel vertical component F2 becomes relatively large, and even if the seal portion 3 is brought into contact with the dash panel DP by acting the pressing force F from the oblique direction, the rolling-up caused by the occurrence of the inclination of the seal portion 3 can be suppressed.
A front door weatherstrip for motor vehicles has a wind-noise suppressing rib formed in a groove portion defined between a hollow sealing lip and a tongue-shaped sealing lip of the door weatherstrip to serve as a dam against a flow in a longitudinal direction of the groove portion. When these lips are elastically deformed by closing the front door, the wind-noise suppressing rib penetrates into a recess portion of the hollow sealing lip to overlap with the recess portion and to make the flow continuous by a bypass flow through the recess portion. Therefore, the front door weatherstrip is improved in at least drainage property without affecting sealing property and door closure property.
A weatherstrip includes a welt section in a substantially letter U shape cross section attached to a flange, and a trim lip formed on an outer surface of an inner side wall section to cover an end edge of a vehicular body trim. The flange is held from both sides by holding lips extending obliquely toward a summit section from the inner surfaces of the respective side wall sections. A projection section is projected on a back side of the outer holding lip. When the flange is fitted, the outer holding lip is struck on the projection section and positioned.

A stopper part is fixed to at least one of the glass run upper side part and the glass run corner part, and configured to engage with an automotive door sash. The stopper part overlaps with the core member and the extension of the glass run corner part longitudinally of the glass run upper side part.
