Abstract

Provided are a system and method which can accurately manage the incline of a straight pile and an inclined pile without using two surveying machines and without using an inclinometer. A system (1) for providing information to an operator of a pile driver (10) in order to control the pile-driver (10) for pile-driving a pile (101) having a major axis (109) into the ground is provided with: a first means (14) for acquiring first data relating to the gradient of the pile (101), in a first coordinate system; a second means (16) for exchanging the first data with second data in a second coordinate system defined by at least 2 points (Pl, Pr); and a display means (17) for displaying the incline of the pile (101) in a second coordinate system on the basis of said second data.

Supporting-member mounting sections (95, 395, 396, 499, 595, 695) which are holes or grooves are formed in legs (40) of a tripod (10, 210, 310, 410) or in separate members (92, 192, 292, 492) mounted to the legs (40).  Supporting members (82, 182, 282, 382, 482, 582, 682) fitted in the supporting-member mounting sections (95, 395, 396, 499, 595, 695) are arranged so as to extend from the supporting-member mounting sections (95, 395, 396, 499, 595, 695) toward the ground surface in a direction in which the tripod is likely to topple over.  Simple operation can reliably prevent toppling over of the tripod.
