Abstract

The invention relates to a ventilating device for a closed vertical wind tunnel (10), in which an airflow is recirculated in a substantially annular air duct, comprising at least one air inlet (52) with an inlet opening (56), through which air from the surroundings can be supplied to the air flow of the vertical wind tunnel (10), and an air outlet with an outlet opening (66), through which a part of the air of the air flow can be discharged into the surroundings. The ventilating device further comprises a device for constricting the effective cross-section of the air duct in the region of the outlet opening (66). The inlet opening (56) is fluidically connected to an air duct region lying downstream of the constricted cross-section of the air duct.
