A method, apparatus, and recording medium for image encoding/decoding are disclosed. In the image encoding/decoding method, classification for a block is performed. A block classification index can be determined through the classification for the block. When the block classification index is determined, filtering for the block can be performed on the basis of the block classification index. Filter information indicating filtering for filtering can be encoded/decoded/signaled. Before filtering is performed, a filter coefficient of a filter can be derived, it can be determined whether filtering is performed, and the filter type of the filter can be determined.
