Abstract

The invention relates to a clamp of the type that is formed by a flat band (1), the ends of which are wound about themselves into a ring and fastened using a retaining pawl (2) and a hook (3) which are connected to a retaining bridge (6) and a hole (7) respectively. The clamp is subsequently tightened using suitable spanners or pliers such that it occupies the optimal clamping position thereof, by clamping and deforming the bridge (12) which is provided with a deformation (15) which provides improved inertial resistance. As part of the aforementioned clamping movement, in which one end is moved below the other end, the two ends are fitted together using a tongue element (14) at one end of the band and a recess (13) at the other end thereof.
