Abstract

A computer-implemented method (100) for creating a mixed reality (MR) meeting room (70) is provided. Two MR devices (10, 30) are configured to scan a respective physical object (22, 42) located in respective physical environments (40) in order to generate feature point clouds (24, 44) thereof. A feature point detection algorithm is applied thereto such that candidate anchor portions (55) are determined. The candidate anchor portions are compared to a reference feature point cloud (64), and at least one common anchor portion (50) is derived. The feature point clouds (24, 44) are aligned with respect to the common anchor portion (50), and the MR devices (10, 30) render visualization of the MR meeting room (70) based on the aligned feature point clouds (24, 44).

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for forming an engagement groove (4) comprising at least one longitudinal portion (54, 60) in a wood-based panel (6). The method comprises the steps of removing material locally from an edge region (46) adjacent an edge (24) of the wood-based panel (6) to form a cavity (49). The cavity (49) is sized to allow that at least a portion of the at least one longitudinal portion (54, 60) of the engagement groove (4) ends in the cavity (49) at a distance from the edge (24) of the wood-based panel (6) in order to minimize any formation of shavings at the edge (24) of the wood-based panel (6) resulting from the forming of the engagement groove (4). The method further comprises the step of forming the engagement groove (4) in the wood-based panel (6), wherein the step of removing material locally from the edge region (46) to form the cavity (49) and the step of forming the engagement groove (4) are aligned to make the at least a portion of the longitudinal portion (54, 60) of the engagement groove (4) end in the cavity (49).

Abstract

The present disclosure relates to methods, systems and non-transitory computer-readable media for identifying potential risks for a person in a physical environment comprising one or more physical entities and a hazardous space. The 3D representation of the physical environment is converted (S908) into a discrete representation comprising a plurality of units. For each unit, it is determined (S910) whether the unit is navigable by a pathfinding algorithm. The pathfinding algorithm is applied (S914) to the plurality of units to identify if a path from a starting unit to an ending unit may be found, the ending unit corresponding to the hazardous space of the physical environment. If such a path is found, a user (S916) is alerted.

Abstract

A piece of furniture, comprising a first and second furniture part, which are coupled to each other at an angle by means of mechanical coupling means. A female part is made as an oblong slot in the second furniture part with an insertion opening for introducing a male part. When coupling the first furniture part and the second furniture part to each other, the male part is brought from an insertion position in the insertion opening to an end position in the female part by moving the male part and the female part along each other. The male part is situated on a narrow end of the first furniture part and is positioned with its center line between the central plane of the first furniture part and the inner side of the first furniture part. The slot is realized in the inwardly directed flat side of the second furniture part.
