Abstract

Methods of making insulated sheets can include: applying an exterior finish material to a mold comprising a profile design; applying an integrated insulation material against a back of the exterior finish material within the mold; curing the integrated insulation material for a pre-determined time in the mold to allow the integrated insulation material to rise to a desired thickness and density against the back of the exterior finish material in the mold; and releasing a formed insulated siding sheet from the mold, wherein the insulated siding sheet comprises the cured integrated insulation material attached to a backside of a plank siding formed from the exterior finish material. An insulated siding sheet and siding sheet system is also included, as well as certain molds used therein.
