Abstract

A foam tray adapted to be nestable into tray stacks when unfilled as a storage space and transportation cost saving means. The tray having improved stack nestable features including that the outward splay of at least the inside surface of the wall is less in a lower region than in an upper region of the wall(s), and/ or wherein a lower region of the wall is thinner and/ or more dense than the upper region of the wall.

Abstract

An open top container formed by trimming a thermoformed precursor or preform to provide an outwardly extending peripheral profile with the trimming cut locus (II-II) directly under part of the peripheral profile only after reverting to a more relaxed condition than that at which the trimming cut was made. The process involves providing a thermoformed precursor or preform, and trimming a surround from the precursor or preform when stretched to better present the trim locus (II-II) between what will be the edge of the container and the cut edge of the surround.

Abstract

A closure assembly for a container containing pressurised content (eg; a carbonated beverage) having a body assembly engageable to a container and a dispensing spout or nozzle carried by the body, wherein the spout interacts with the body to prevent release of contents from the container in closed condition and allow liquid egress from a container via the body in the open condition. The body includes a waisted barrel to hold the pull up/ push down spout captive and a folded down flange. The body also includes a tamper evident over cap and the fluid flow path is both via a vent hole and laterally of the spout via the body. The body assembly defines a tamper band release for a flip top with a formation providing a cone seal into the top of the spout. The cone seal is also replaceable.
