Abstract
A furnace for thermal treatment with gaseous atmosphere quenching having a bell inside which there are provided a rotor regulating the gas atmosphere flow, a heat exchanger regulating the temperature of the gas atmosphere and a thermal chamber configured for thermal treatment and the following gaseous atmosphere quenching. The thermal chamber has at least a surface positioned on a side adjacent to the heat exchanger and at least a surface positioned on an opposed side to the adjacent one to the heat exchanger and wherein at least a surface has a plurality of screens which connect the inside of the thermal chamber with the inside of the bell to allow the passage of the gas atmosphere from the thermal chamber to the bell, wherein the screens are adjustable to modify the passage section and so the flow of the gas atmosphere in function of the temperature required by the thermal treatment.

Abstract
Furnace (1) for thermal treatment with gaseous atmosphere quenching comprising a bell (7) inside which there are provided a rotor (90) regulating the gas atmosphere flow, an heat exchanger (6) regulating the temperature of the gas atmosphere and a thermal chamber (2) configured for thermal treatment and the following gaseous atmosphere quenching, said thermal chamber (2) comprising at least a surface (4) positioned on a side adjacent to the heat exchanger (6) and at least a surface (4) positioned on an opposed side to the adjacent one to the heat exchanger (6) and wherein at least a surface (4, 4') comprises a plurality of screens (100) which connect the inside of the thermal chamber (2) with the inside of the bell (7) to allow the passage of the gas atmosphere from the thermal chamber to the bell, characterized in that said screens (100) are adjustable to modify the passage section and so the flow of the gas atmosphere in function of the temperature required by the thermal treatment.

Abstract
The present invention concerns an equipment for the thermal treatment of metal pieces. The equipment comprises : - A bell (10) provided with a receiving cavity (20) into which to be able to position one or more than one metal pieces to be thermally treated; - Heating means to raise the internal temperature of the receiving cavity (20) to a pre-established value and; - An assembly of thermal exchange (100; 200; 300) to lower the temperature reached in the receiving cavity (20) in such a way as to operate the pre-established thermal treatment on the pieces. In accordance with the invention, the assembly of thermal exchange (100; 200; 300) is arranged externally to the bell (10) in such a way as to allow a reduction of the overall dimensions of the said bell.
