Abstract
A fluid displacement device integrates a drive system with a drive gear that directly couples to a motor shaft. The drive system may include a pinion gear that couples with the drive gear. The pinion gear can be configured to transfer rotation of the motor shaft to turn the impeller. In one implementation, the fluid displacement device can embody a centrifugal compressor that requires the impeller to turn at high speeds in excess of 25,000 RPM.

Abstract
The disclosure describes a flow conditioning device for dampening pulses and improving performance of a compressor. In one approach, a diffuser device includes a housing member having a first end and a second end, the housing member coupled to an outlet of a compressor, and a diffuser member disposed within the housing member. The diffuser member is in fluid communication with a working fluid delivered from the compressor, and includes a core member extending along a longitudinal axis of the diffuser member, and a plurality of flutes extending radially from the core member. In some approaches, the plurality of flutes and an inner surface of the housing define a plurality of fluid channels for delivering the working fluid from the first end to the second end of the housing member. In some approaches, the diffuser member is rotatably coupled to the housing member.

Abstract
A slinger member that is part of a lubricating system that flings, or slings, fluid lubricant about the interior of rotating machinery. The slinger member can include a plate body having a central axis and an outer peripheral edge circumscribing the central axis. The plate body can comprise a lubricant collection member, generally a rolled edge member with one or more openings disposed therethrough. The plate body can further comprise a plurality of rib members that are disposed circumferentially about the central axis. These rib members are configured to prevent deflection of the plate body. In one example, the slinger member can incorporate a hub member with a central bore that has an internal surface with a coupling member disposed thereon. The coupling member can be part of a coupling mechanism that can prevent rotation of the slinger member about a shaft member found on the lubricating system.

Abstract
A lubricating assembly that is configured as part of a lubricating system that flings, or slings, fluid lubricants about the interior of rotating machinery. In one embodiment, the lubricating assembly includes a bearing clamp member with a clamp body having an outer peripheral edge that has an annular profile that partially circumscribes a longitudinal axis. The annular profile can have first annular section with a first clamp surface and a second clamp surface disposed in opposing relation about a centerline and spaced apart from one another to form a first annular gap. At the bottom of the clamp body, the bearing clamp member is configured with a peripheral wall that bounds a reservoir region. This configuration allows the fluid lubricants to gravity feed through the first annular gap into the reservoir region to retain a volume of the captured lubricant to lubricate moving parts of the lubricating system.

Abstract
A lubricant assembly that is configured as part of a lubricating system that flings, or slings, fluid lubricants about the interior of compressors. In one embodiment, the lubricant assembly includes a lubricant guide member with a body member that has a pair of peripheral side members with angled surfaces. The construction is amenable to more consistent fabrication constraints (e.g., tolerances), as well as to offer features that can improve operation of the lubricating system, e.g., as operative in the compressors. In use, the lubricant guide member is disposed transverse to a longitudinal axis of a shaft that is configured to rotate a slinger member to fling the lubricant. This configuration captures lubricant that falls downwardly from other parts of the compressors. The angled surfaces of the side members direct this captured lubricant toward the shaft, and other rotating components, of the lubricating system.
