Abstract

The present invention relates to a retainer and a manufacturing method therefor, the retainer comprising a shape part output by a 3D printer so as to have the same shape as the teeth of a wearer, wherein the output shape part is coupled to the teeth of the wearer so as to stabilize the position of the orthodontic teeth. The retainer is output by the 3D printer so as to have the same shape as the teeth of the wearer, and is coupled to the teeth of the wearer and has excellent elasticity so as not to sustain fractures caused by chewing movements of the teeth, and can prevent the teeth of the lower jaw from spreading. The retainer can be closely coupled to the teeth of the wearer and, even after being worn, can prevent aesthetic deterioration caused by the retainer, and since the curve between the retainer and the teeth is gradual, teeth brushing by a patient using a toothbrush is facilitated such that tartar formation can be suppressed. In addition, the retainer can inhibit the growth of bacteria, and has material properties that can be adjusted through the addition of organic nano materials and/or inorganic nano materials.

Abstract

The present invention relates to a maxillary skeletal expander and a manufacturing method therefor. The maxillary skeletal expander is printed through 3D printing, can fit the oral cavity of a patient and be used on both the upper jaw and the lower jaw, and does not require a separate fixing device such as a screw, and thus does not require a separate fixing procedure. In addition, compared to conventional maxillary skeletal expanders, the maxillary skeletal expander generates less of a foreign body sensation during use and does not cause injuries in the oral cavity, and thus does not cause pain.

Abstract

A method for post-curing a 3D printing output and a transparent orthodontic device manufactured by the method are described. The method for post-curing a 3D printing output removes residual resin from printouts manufactured through a 3D printer, shortens the curing time by improving the curing speed through a post-curing process, and can manufacture printouts with improved strength and increased transparency. The transparent orthodontic device removes resin of the surface through the post-curing process when manufacturing a transparent orthodontic device, improves strength, not only has excellent transparency, but also enables unreacted monomers to be removed, and can exhibit shape memory characteristics that restore its shape to the initially printed-out shape of the transparent orthodontic device by the provision of heat.

The retainer is output by the 3D printer so as to have the same shape as the teeth of the wearer, is coupled to the teeth of the wearer so as not to be broken by chewing motion of the teeth because of excellent elasticity, and can prevent the teeth of the lower jaw from spreading. The retainer can be closely coupled to the teeth of the wearer, and can prevent aesthetic deterioration caused by the retainer after being worn, and since the curve between the retainer and the teeth is gentle, teeth brushing by a patient using a toothbrush is facilitated such that tartar formation can be suppressed. In addition, the retainer can inhibit the growth of bacteria, and the material properties thereof can be adjusted by adding organic nano materials and/or inorganic nano materials thereto.

Abstract

The present invention relates to a patient-specific transparent orthodontic appliance printed by 3D printing. The transparent orthodontic appliance is printed through a 3D printer by using a photocurable composition comprising: a photocurable oligomer; a reactive monomer; a photoinitiator; and other additives, and the transparent orthodontic appliance relates to a patient-specific transparent orthodontic appliance using a 3D printer having a recovery rate of 90% or more through repeated creep tests at 37°C by using dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA). The transparent orthodontic appliance can be printed in a form suitable for a patient's oral structure, and when used in combination with teeth, the shape thereof can be deformed if heat is supplied, such that the transparent orthodontic appliance can be used in close contact with the tooth structure, and exhibit a high orthodontic force due to the feature of being restored to the original shape thereof by means of body temperature. In addition, as a transparent orthodontic appliance manufactured using shape memory polymers (SMPs), the shape memory polymers can exhibit low density, shape deformation at glass transition temperature, high elastic deformation, and stable biocompatibility, such that when used for orthodontic treatment, the transparent orthodontic appliance can lower a patient's pain and enables the orthodontic force to be exerted on the entire teeth so as to prevent the tilting of the teeth.

Abstract

The present invention relates to a transparent orthodontic appliance having increased correctability, the transparent orthodontic appliance made to be patient-specific by means of 3D printing. In order to increase the correctability of teeth, a laminate having concavities and convexities engraved therein is adhered to the teeth, and the transparent orthodontic appliance having concavities and convexities embossed thereon is provided in a position to be complementarily coupled to the concavities and convexities of the laminate. Therefore, the correctability is increased by means of the complementary coupling of the concavities and convexities between the laminate and transparent orthodontic appliance.

Abstract

The present invention relates to a patient-customized denture using a 3D printer. As the patient-customized denture is suitable for a patient's oral cavity structure, user convenience is increased. As the patient-customized denture using a 3D printer has excellent physical properties and hygroscopic resistance, the patient-customized denture can be used permanently in the oral cavity. When damage occurs in a tooth part due to the use of the denture, it is possible to partially repair the damaged tooth part and replace the entire tooth part. When a bonding force with a gum part is weakened due to deformation of a gum state, it is possible to repair the gum part of the denture, such that an economic burden on a patient can be reduced. In addition, the patient-customized denture using a 3D printer is a fixed denture that can be used in combination with an implant placed in a patient's gums, and can be directly combined with the gum part of the denture without using a metal bar which is combined with a conventional implant and used to increase the physical strength of the denture. It is possible to partially repair the denture even when deformation occurs due to use.

Abstract

The present invention relates to a top-down mode 3D printer and a method for producing a product using same, in which the degree of curing a photocurable polymer composition by means of irradiated light is high, and thus, the production time of a printed product can be shortened. In addition, as a product is printed in a top-down mode in which the product is produced by curing same from a top-end sectional area thereof, printing of a product having a larger top-end sectional area than a bottom-end sectional area is enabled, and, further, the range of a printable sectional area can be extended.
