Abstract
Materials and methods for 3D printing and moulds printed according to the methods. The materials can include glass in the binder. The materials can also include particulate build material. In some examples, a mould is printed using the glass binder and build material. In some examples, the glass of the binder and the build material are selected to have a common element therein. In some examples, the glass of the binder is modified to increase its melting point. The glass of the binder can be of a glass-ceramic precursor, which forms a glass- ceramic. The glass of the build material can be modified using a softening point modifier, which can be a glass network modifier, a glass with a higher melting point, or a promoter of crystal formation in the glass.

Abstract
A 3D printer having a build surface, a first spreader for spreading a build material on the build surface, and a pivot mechanism. The pivot mechanism is coupled to the spreader to allow the spreader to pivotally move between a spreading disposition for spreading the build material on the build surface and a non-5 spreading disposition for not spreading the build material on the build surface. The 3D printer also has a print head, reservoirs for supplying material to the build surface, binder-setting devices, drive mechanisms for moving build and reservoir platforms, and a cleaning assembly including a cleaning bath.
