Abstract
A process for the production of shoes which comprises the step of melting a reactive hot-melt adhesive mentioned below under heating and applying the melt to the adhesive surface of at least one adherend, the ultraviolet treatment step of irradiating the adhesive with an ultraviolet light in a dose exceeding 100mJ/cm2 and below 1,200mJ/cm2 to polymerize the polyurethane prepolymer contained in the adhesive, and the bonding step of placing the other adherend on the resulting adhesive to bond both adherends to each other. The reactive hot-melt adhesive is one which comprises both a polyurethane prepolymer containing a noncrystalline polyol and bearing a (meth)acryloyl group and an isocyanate group at the ends and a photopolymerization initiator and exhibits a viscosity of 300Pa쮏s or below at 80°C. The process brings about simplification in the stage of work and reduction in the working time and enables the production of shoes excellent in durability.

Abstract
Disclosed is a method for producing a shoe, which comprises the following steps: a pretreatment step for melting a reactive hotmelt adhesive agent as mentioned below by heating and providing the molten adhesive agent onto the bonding surface of at least one of objects to be adhered to each other; an ultraviolet ray treatment step for irradiating the adhesive agent with an ultraviolet ray having an intensity of 100 to 1,200 mJ/cm2 exclusive to cause the polymerization of a polyurethane prepolymer contained in the adhesive agent; and a bonding step for superimposing the bonding surface of the other object on the adhesive agent provided on the at least one of the objects to adhere the both objects to each other. The reactive hotmelt adhesive agent comprises: the polyurethane prepolymer which has a (meth)acryloyl group and an isocyanate group at the end terminus of the molecule and contains a non-crystalline polyol and a crystalline polyol, wherein the non-crystalline polyol is contained in an amount of 20 to 90 mass% relative to the total amount of the polyols; and a photopolymerization initiator. The adhesive agent has a viscosity of 300 Pa s or less at 80˚C. In the method for producing a shoe, the process of operation can be simplified and the time of operation canbe shortened. The method enables to produce a shoe having excellent durability.
