The tire valve further comprises a union nut having an inner thread for screwing onto the external thread in order to clamp the rim base between the union nut and the stop when the valve stem is pushed through a rim bore, a valve cap made of plastic, and a deformation element on the outer periphery of the valve stem and/or on an inner periphery of the union nut. The tire valve according to the invention is characterized in that the union nut, and, when the deformation element is provided on the inner periphery of the union nut also the deformation element, has a minimum inner diameter that is greater than the maximum outer diameter of the valve cap.

The invention relates to a valve device having a valve body (1, 1') releaseably connected by means of a retaining unit (4, 4') to a housing (3, 3') designed for receiving electronic tire pressure measuring means, so that the retaining unit fixes the valve body in a relative position to the housing in a locked state, and the valve body can be displaced in an axial extension direction relative to the housing and released from the same in an unlocked state. The retaining means are provided on or in the housing, so that said means engage laterally in a jacket-side locking segment of the valve body for producing the locked state, and are designed so that the retaining means are secured or locked on or in the housing in the locked state.
