The present invention relates to a dispensing apparatus for a two-part adhesive and a method of dispensing a moisture sensitive adhesive with a mobile applicator system. A cart having a tray and a pump assembly communicates with a mixer. A first package enclosing a bladder contains the first adhesive component, while a second package contains the second adhesive component. A first and second conduit disposed below the tray communicate between the opening of the first package and second package respectively and inlets of the pump assembly. The first and second adhesive components are pumped by the pump assembly to the mixer and dispensed therefrom. The method involves providing a package containing one part of an adhesive which is mixed with a second part to form an adhesive. The packaging and dispensing system and method can be used in conjunction with mechanized adhesive application equipment for the construction trades.
