Abstract

Provided is a power transmission device for a water pump for cooling automobile engines, wherein power regulation between a disk and hub in the power transmission device for a water pump can be rapidly and accurately effected, and wherein wear and damage to constituent parts can be prevented. The power transmission device comprises a pulley, a magnetic flux generating means, a disk assembly, and a hub assembly. The disk assembly comprises a disk, a friction ring which makes frictional contact with the hub assembly, and a resilient ring which resiliently presses the friction ring towards the hub assembly. When the attracting magnetic flux of the magnetic flux generating means is not applied, the friction ring makes frictional contact with the hub assembly due to resilient pressing of the resilient ring, whereas, when the attracting magnetic flux is applied, the disk moves towards the pulley such that the frictional contact between the friction ring and the hub assembly is broken.

Abstract

The present invention relates to an evaporator, and more particularly, to an evaporator which can restrict a surface area of a communication hole with respect to a cross sectional area of a compartment and a surface area of a tube with respect to a surface area of a fin, thereby providing a dimensional extent for maximizing the heat exchange efficiency. Therefore, by optimizing a relation between the surface area of the communication portion and the surface area of the compartment of the first header tank and dimensions for each surface area and the heights of the tube and fin, the present invention provides a dimensional extent for maximizing the heat radiation amount, reducing the maximum temperature deviation of the core portion and allowing the refrigerant and air to be smoothly flowed, thereby maximizing the heat exchange efficiency.

Abstract

The present invention relates to a compressor, wherein a rotary shaft 140 having a swash plate 144 coupled thereto is used to linearly reciprocate a piston 150 in a cylinder bore 134 formed in front and rear cylinder blocks 130 and 130'. The rotary shaft 140 has a flow channel 142 formed therein and inlets 142a formed to communicate with the flow channel 142. A hub 146 is formed in the swash plate 144, and a shaft hole 146a, through which the rotary shaft 140 passes, is formed in the center of the hub 146. Communication holes 146b are formed in the hub 146 to communicate with the inlets 142a of the flow channel 142. First races 148a are coupled to the hub 146. A rotary shaft hole 148d is formed in the first race 148a, which has a thickness greater in its outer peripheral portion than its inner peripheral portion. According to the present invention configured as above, the communication holes 146b are concavely formed in surfaces where inlets of the shaft hole 146a of the hub 146 are provided, so that the communication holes 146b can be formed together with the hub. Thus, there is an advantage in that the compressor can be easily manufactured. Also, the first race 148a has a thickness greater in its outer peripheral portion than its inner peripheral portion. Accordingly, there is an effect in that the strength of the first race 148a can be reinforced while keeping its damping effect, thereby improving durability of the swash plate type compressor.

Abstract

The present invention relates to a solar cell system for vehicles and a control method thereof. Even when a change of electric power generated from a solar cell is high, the variable voltage devices and the constant voltage devices selectively distribute the electric power according to the electric power without changing voltage. Accordingly, energy efficiency can be improved, the number of components can be reduced without using a voltage converter, and energy conversion loss can be decreased. Further, electric power generated from the solar cell is used for ventilation, air purification, cool and warmth, and convenience devices of a vehicle. Thus, a driver can be provided with a controlled environment when riding on the vehicle. Accordingly, the present invention can meet a driver's requirements for the utilization of convenience devices and can provide a comfortable interior environment.

Abstract

A method for controlling an intake of an air-conditioner of a vehicle is disclosed. The method includes the a-1) step (Sl) at which the main door (220) of the intake (200) opens the outdoor- air inlet port (211) and closes the indoor-air inlet port (212), so that only outdoor air flows into the intake, the b-1) step (S2) of detecting operation of the blower (130), the c-1) step (S3) of determining whether set indoor temperature of the vehicle is predetermined temperature or higher, and the d-1) step (S4) at which the subsidiary door (230) opens the subsidiary indoor- air inlet port (213) so that some indoor air flows into the intake. The method automatically controls the intake of the air-conditioner, thus allowing some indoor air to flow into the intake while outdoor air is flowing into the intake, therefore keeping the indoor temperature of the vehicle pleasant, and enhancing heating efficiency.
