Abstract
The invention relates to a method for producing a paving stone, having the following method steps: a) producing a concrete mixture (21) in a mixing device (20), b) portioning and filling a measured batch (23) of the concrete mixture (21) into a fill cart (26), wherein there is at least one sensor (34) associated with the batch (23), which detects the total content of water in the batch (23), d) transmitting the value detected by the sensor (34) for the total content to a control apparatus (32) and associating the detected value with a time duration for a shaking process of the multiple mold (28) in at least one shaking step, and g) allowing the shaken concrete mixture (21) to cure.

Abstract
The method for producing a paving stone starts with a mould filled with a concrete mix (21). The mould has a tray (24) and an upper die (26). The tray (24) has an upper opening which is covered by the upper die (26). The mould is equipped with at least one sensor which detects at least one of the following electrical variables: a) resistance in ohms of a partial area of the concrete mix (21), b) measured value for an ultrasound signal which has passed through at least one partial area of the concrete mix (21). In the method, the mould containing the concrete mix (21) is agitated by means of an agitating device (30) and in at least one agitation step. At least one electrical variable is detected at least during agitation including the progress over time of the change in the electrical variable and the point when the electrical variable achieves a predetermined, stored value is established. Agitation is switched off applying a switch-off delay for the agitating device (30) so that said device comes to a halt when the at least one electrical variable reaches the predetermined, stored value.

Abstract
The polygonal paving element made of artificial stone is intended for roadways and has an upper side (20) which has corners (34) and which is formed substantially by a main surface (22) that lies in a plane (24). The upper side (20) also has corner bevels (26) that are located outside the main surface (22) and are connected to the main surface (22) along a line (28) that lies in the plane (24). The corner bevels (26) are delimited by the line (28) and two side edges (30, 32) which extend from the corner (34) that is associated with the corner bevel (26). Each corner bevel (26) slopes progressively in relation to the plane (24) from the line (28) to the corner (34). The corner (34) lies at least 0.3mm and not more than 3mm below the plane (24).
