Abstract

The present invention relates to a highly corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy comprising, by wt%, at least one from among 0.1% or less of Cu (excluding 0%), 0.15% or less of Si (excluding 0%), 0.2% or less of Fe (excluding 0%), 0.9-1.5% of Mn, 0.03-0.15% of Ti, 0.03-0.15% of Cr, 0.03-0.15% of Zr, and the remainder of Al and inevitable impurities. In the highly corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy according to the present invention, by further adding Ti, Cr and Zr components to an aluminum alloy or, in particular, by adding these components in the same amount ratio, an aluminum alloy with high tensile strength and yield strength and improved corrosion resistance in salt water conditions can be provided.

Abstract

The present invention discloses a muffler for an air conditioner with a baffle plate having a passage for fluid flow, which passage is formed by burring. The present invention comprises a housing and a baffle plate. The housing includes a housing body having an expansion chamber, an inlet tube extended in one side of the housing body so as to communicate with the expansion chamber, and an outlet tube extended on the other side of the housing body so as to communicate with the expansion chamber. The baffle plate is a type with a first plane surface arranged to divide the expansion chamber, which first plane surface has a passage tube formed by burring so as to be extended toward the inlet tube. The central axis of the inlet tube is arranged so as to be offset with that of the passage tube. According to the present invention, the muffling effect is improved by the baffle plate having the passage tube formed by burring for flow of a fluid.

Abstract

Disclosed is a double pipe heat exchanger provided with a helical rib allowing the heat exchange efficiency to be improved by having helical ribs. Additionally, a method and an apparatus for manufacturing helical ribbed pipes for extruding helical ribbed pipes used for manufacturing double pipe heat exchangers are disclosed. A double pipe heat exchanger according to the present invention is provided with outer and inner pipes. The outer pipe comprises: a first passageway; a plurality of helical ribs on the inner circumferential surface of the first passageway; ribs removed sections on both first and second terminal ends created by removal of helical ribs; and swaging parts, adjacent to each of the first and second terminal ends, formed by swaging a portion of the ribs removed sections. The inner pipe is provided with a second passageway and is inserted inside the outer pipe so as to protrude externally therefrom. The inner circumferential surface of the swaging parts and the outer circumferential surface of the inner pipe are joined by brazing. An apparatus for manufacturing helical ribbed pipes according to the present invention is provided with dies, a mandrel with grooves thereon, a clamping unit, and a puller. The front end of the pipe extruded from the dies is clamped with the clamping unit. The puller extrudes helical ribs on the inner circumferential surface of the pipe by simultaneously rotating and linearly moving the clamping unit.
