Abstract

An apparatus for processing fruit and vegetables consisting of a rotating plane (1), at least one gripper (100) for gripping a fruit and vegetable product, said gripper including an actuator (6) and gripping elements (8) that move simultaneously and in opposite directions, ensuring to perfectly position the product, especially when a possible automatic or semi-automatic processing assembly (10) or (20) moves towards the product to perform operations such as coring, stripping and trimming, depending on the type of product.
