Abstract

An integrated hermetic device for Combined Heat and Power (CHP) energy generation arrangements, such as Heller- type thermal cycles, which integrates within a hermetic and sealed module in a vertical and aligned manner at least one vapor expander, an electric generator, a direct contact condenser and at least one pump, arranged in conjunction with a volume compensator vessel and flow control arrangement, providing this device with innovative and advantageous features in terms of costs, ease of installation and maintenance, and operational simplicity, while not requiring extra lubricating agents in the bearings, operating only with the same working fluid, whereby the tightness of the internal conduits is no longer critical. This integration enables working in thermodynamic vacuum conditions without exposing the rest of the installation to such condition, minimizing the possibility of non- condensable gases ingress, such as air, and avoiding the working fluid losses to the environment.

Abstract

A gas compression compact device comprised of: a) one or more centrifugal compressors; and b) a high speed axial flow permanent magnet synchronous electric motor. The electric motor and the compressor are directly coupled on a single axis and supported by passive magnetic and electrodynamic bearings, free of lubrication. The equipment does not use mechanic seals since the rotor is placed inside the pressure containment of the gas. The equipment does not require auxiliary systems for cooling, filtration, separation or feeding of lubricant fluids.

Abstract

A compact heat and electricity co-generation device comprised by: a) a heat generating system connected to a steam generator, a condenser and an internal working fluid, wherein said steam is obtained by external combustion of a suitable fuel in a boiler and/or by conduction of external hot gases to a boiler; y b) an electricity generator system comprised by: i) one or more radial and/or axial turbines; ii) an electric axial flow generator; and iii) an electronic control inverter. The fuel can be a solid, liquid or gaseous fuel. Both the turbine and the electric generator have passive magnetic bearings and electrodynamic bearings. The equipment does not use mechanical seals as all moving parts are housed within working fluid the pressure containment of the working fluid.

Abstract

An Internet-based system and method, allowing vendors to publish and transmit ad hoc offer messages that targets consumers with exceptional efficiency, and further allowing consumers to anonymously search such published offer messages based on geographic proximity and desired subject category, includes a vendor computer device, a system server operatively connected to the vendor computer device via a network, and a consumer computer device operatively connected to the system server via the network, where the consumer selects the search distance from the consumer's location, and one or more desired subject categories to be searched for searching a compilation of published offer messages hosted on the system server.
