Abstract

The invention relates to a traffic guide barrier (1a) for integrating into a vehicle retaining system on a traffic route. The traffic guide barrier comprises two barrier bodies (A, B) with end faces (4a, 4b) which correspond to each other. Coupling means (38) are provided which can be brought into engagement with one another in order to connect the two barrier bodies (A, B), said coupling means being complemented by a coupling plate (42a), which engages below the first barrier body (A) in some regions, and a claw (18a), which is arranged on an upper face (7), in combination with a movable locking element (34). The claw (18a) of the first barrier body (A) engages into an opening (18b) of the second barrier body (B) at least in some regions in a closed position (a1) of the traffic guide barrier (1a). The traffic guide barrier (1a) is used in combination with traffic guides, which are laid one another in a removable manner, so as to be integrated into a vehicle retaining system for a traffic route.
