Abstract

Disclosed is an underground railway crossing construction method for directly installing a precast concrete (PC) slab, wherein an underground crossing structure can be constructed by directly installing the PC slab on the railway. The underground railway crossing construction method of the present invention comprises: burying a plurality of pairs of temporary piers under the ground on both sides of the railway in a longitudinal direction of the railway; burying a plurality of cross beams under the ground such that the cross beams cross the lower part of the railway and are supported on upper ends of the plurality of pairs of temporary piers; constructing a first construction section by removing a partial section of the railway in which the plurality of cross beams are buried, and installing a PC slab in the first construction space such that the PC slab is supported on the cross beams; installing a first replacement railway connected to the railway on the upper side of the PC slab; and constructing a main tunnel by performing a bed excavation for the lower part of the PC slab, and constructing an underground crossing structure in the main tunnel. According to the present invention, the PC slab is directly installed in an underground crossing construction space of a railway and the PC slab can be used as a main structure, thereby improving constructability and economic advantages and enhancing the safety of driving trains.
