Abstract

The utility model relates to the field of sterilizing medical articles and can be used in packages for sterilizing same. The pack for sterilizing medical articles is in the form of a rectangular envelope which is glued along the lateral sides and in the lower part. In the upper part, the pack has a closing valve with an adhesive strip, which is applied thereto and is covered by a protective band, a crease or a perforation, and a chemical sterilization indicator on the external side. The pack is formed from paper with a thickness of 75-110 μm, with air permeability of a minimum of 3.4 μm /Pa*s, with a density of a minimum of 60 g/m2, with Cobb moisture absorption of 23-32 g/m2 and with a tensile strength limit in the transverse direction in the dry state of a minimum of 2.6 kN/m and, in the longitudinal machine direction, the paper has a strength limit in the dry state of a minimum of 5.0 kN/m. The utility model will make it possible to improve the consumer properties of the pack, to increase the strength thereof, to extend the storage life of medical articles packed into the pack under various sterilization methods, and to extend the functional possibilities of said pack by extending the sterilization methods in which said pack can be used.

Abstract

The utility model relates to the field of sterilizing medical goods and can be used in packaging for the sterilization of medical goods. A packaging for the sterilization of medical goods is configured in the form of a pouch formed from at least two walls made of a sheet material and connected by a hermetic seam, which pouch can be hermetically sealed once goods for sterilization have been placed therein. The packaging has at least one chemical indicator for the sterilization process and at least one chemical indicator for the monitoring of variables of the sterilization process. At least part of at least one of the walls of the pouch is made from a transparent material. At least one of the chemical indicators for the monitoring of variables of the sterilization process is situated on the inside surface of one of the walls of the pouch such that it can be visually inspected from outside for the purpose of monitoring the sterilization process. The chemical indicator for the monitoring of variables of the sterilization process is in the form of a glued label or is configured by printing. The utility model makes it possible to provide an extended shelf life for sterilized medical goods by virtue of a packaging for the sterilization of medical goods which permits efficient visual monitoring of the parameters of the sterilization process, it being possible for sterilization to be carried out using a variety of methods.
