Abstract

The present invention provides a modular fencing storage and handling device comprising at least one interchangeable automated reel cradle module comprising a cradle for the storage and handling of a fence wire reel, a powered driving mechanism to control the automated winding of a fence wire onto the fence wire reel and a layering means which allows the fence wire to be layered evenly across the fence wire reel as it is being fed onto the fence wire reel.
