Abstract

A cooking device with patterns on the surface thereof includes a holding part (220) and a food taking part (210). The surface of the holding part and/or the food taking part is covered with colorful layer. The colorful layer includes a first area (21) which is non-laser-engraved and a second area (22) which is laser-engraved and the thickness of the second layer is less than that of the first layer and both of the first and second layers form design patterns. The colorful layer is overlaid with a protecting layer. A manufacture method of the cooking device includes: manufacturing a holding part and a food taking part of a food device with predefined color; laying a colorful layer on the holding part and/or the food taking part and predefining the engraving area and the engraving deepness according to the design patterns and then laser engraving the colorful layer, and then overlaying a protecting layer on the colorful layer. The cooking device has beautiful patterns and smoothing surface which is easy to be cleaned.
