The plurality of dancer arms (3) of the winding system are each provided with a tensioning device, which in turn has at least one polymeric fluidic tension actuator (8) which serves to determine an instantaneous signal which is approximately proportional to the required tension of the continuously arriving yarn (1). The tension actuator (8) generates required resistance on the dancer arm (3) in proportion to the required winding tension in the winding yarn (1). In the method for controlling the yarn winding tension, the change in said instantaneous angular position (3F) of said dancer arm (3) is monitored and used to regulate winding tension by changing rotational speed of spindle (2) through the individual winder head controller (13) in required proportion.
The invention relates to a semi-automated liner insertion device and a semi-automated method of inserting a liner cut piece into an outer covering to form a combine (6). The semi-automated device comprises a height adjustable frame (10) on which a semi-automated liner insertion platform (1) is mounted and which is capable of moving on a pair of rails (3) with the help of a pneumatic cylinder (8) 10 connected to a cross member (2) provided with rolling or sliding mechanism (2A). A circular loom to manufacture doup fabric (F) operating at achieve high speed weaving is disclosed. Conventional looms are faced with problems of undesirable friction at such speeds. The loom comprises a partial healds belt assembly which facilitates displacement of the interacting warp threads is provided on the loom. The warp threads of at least one of the pair of partial healds (4, 5), which are provided with thread eyes (3) through which the threads pass, are guided freely by thread guide means to bring about the shedding, and, on the other partial heald, to bring about a side change. In one aspect of the invention, the eyes (3) are provided with a ceramic insert (3A). The invention discloses circular loom to make plain weave woven fabric which is provided with reduced-friction warp guide elements to achieve high speed weaving. The circular loom is fitted with shed forming warp end guide (3) provided with an upper end portion (3A), a lower end portion (3B), and a middle portion (3C). One key aspect of the invention is that the thread eye (4) has an internal profile curved to receive a reduced-friction thread eye insert (5). During bonding process of labels and workpieces, which are made from thermoplastics, they are heated to 350+ oC before actual bonding. Effect of high temperature and thinness of surfaces causes thermal shock on the materials to be bonded, leading to product failure or quality issues. This invention relates to process and apparatus for making bags from polymer web materials, in particular polyolefines using adhesive bonding. It is well known that hot air welding/seaming systems used in such processes cause undesirable and uncontrolled deterioration in fabric strength. The invention discloses a process where surface enhancement techniques are used on surfaces to be joined together before joining them by using adhesives. There is an overall reduction in bag weight, increase in production speed, and increase in bond strength of joints. Circular looms used to produce woven fabric employ shuttles that carry wound bobbins. Pressure generated by the pressure pad assemblies of the shuttle leads to damage to the pressure pad liner and the yarn resulting in loss or productivity and poor quality fabric. Shuttle pad assembly (SA) of invention has a pressure pad assembly (2) harmless to the yarn as well as to itself. The invention discloses a flat or tubular type woven fabric (1A) made from yarn which has texture like jute. This invention relates to producing bags for packing and storing of goods. More particularly, the invention relates to flat or tubular leno weave fabric which is comprised of at least one warp thread (6A) that has one of its strands (6B or 6C) made from bulk yarn as weft and/or at least one of its weft threads (5A) is made from bulk yarn, and a bag made from such fabric. The invention addresses the problem of harshness of the leno weave fabric made from stiff yarn, particularly on perishable goods and other goods that can get damaged by harsh packaging. Woven fabrics typically comprise warp and weft structures that formed using warp and weft threads, respectively. Woven slit film tape fabric typically comprises of two sets of threads arranged in warp structure and weft structure. Threads are typically made of multiple slit film tapes. The fabric of the invention has some bulk yarn introduced in the weaving pattern to make the fabric softer than the conventional fabric. This key aspect of the invention has led to bags that are less harsh on the goods, than bags made from conventional leno fabric made from stiff yarn.
The invention relates to an automatic turret type yarn winding device. The invention provides a device and a method to position spindle precisely in turret type automatic winder, during the bobbin changeover. It involves, during the bobbin changeover process, the step of rotating the turret in at least two discrete rotational movements carried out at controlled speeds, whereby the empty bobbin assumes its accurate winding position. In an important inventive aspect of the invention, the turret rotation is controlled by sensing the current in the motors controlling the spindles. The present invention relates a hot air circulating chamber with air-flow control system used in manufacture of thermo-plastic products such as monofilament, plastic web strips, narrow film strip, multi-filament. Conventional systems do not allow controlling temperature and air-flow in hot air channel/chamber to achieve uniformity. With the increased production speed and stringent product requirements, improved air-flow uniformity and temperature precision in the hot air oven is necessary. The invention relates to manufacture of storage bags made from tubular fabric and in particular to a device or an apparatus of and method for making composite bags where storage bags have a liner inserted into them. Manual methods of inserting a liner into an outer covering to make composite bags are known, however, these are not suitable for automated bag making machines. The device of the invention discloses a liner insertion platform (15) that is capable of movement in direction transverse to its own plane. It also discloses a pair of liner insertion tubes (15A) that wrap a heat sealed liner cut piece (10C) around them and insert it inside an outer covering cut piece (7). The invention relates to a device for managing defects in a web material on conversion lines. In particular, the device relates to identifying defective sections of web/web material and rejecting the defective pieces before they enter the downstream processes of a conversion line, such as bag making. The present invention relates to a system and a method for accurately estimating the thickness of extruded plastic films. In particular, the invention relates to automatic allocation of a recipe-dependent calibration factor and a scanning system dependent calibration factor to the measured thickness to arrive at an accurate estimate. It also discloses making changes to the settings of the film forming die to reduce deviation of the actual thickness from the required thickness of the film. It addresses the problem faced by the conventional extrusion systems where the films are often of unacceptably non-uniform thickness.
