Abstract

An antiskid chain and an automatic-clamping apparatus for an antiskid chain. The automatic-clamping apparatus for an antiskid chain comprises: a base (110), and a reel (200) connected to the base (110), the reel (200) being provided with first teeth (211) and second teeth (222) arranged, in opposing directions, in the axial direction of and around the circumference of the reel (200); and, a control part (300), comprising a first pawl (311) and a second pawl (312). The first pawl (311) is able to move so as to mesh with or not to mesh with the first teeth (211). The second pawl (312) is able to move so as to mesh with or not to mesh with the second teeth (222). When the first pawl (311) meshes with the first teeth (211), the second pawl (312) does not mesh with the second teeth (222); and, when the first pawl (311) does not mesh with the first teeth (211), the second pawl (312) meshes with the second teeth (222). The reel (200) is capable of only unidirectional rotation, thereby ensuring that when the reel (200) rotates in the pull direction of a pull cord (400), the pull cord (400) is able to be pulled out but not to retract, and ensuring that when the reel (200) rotates in the retract direction of the pull cord (400), the pull cord (400) is able to retract but not to be pulled out. This prevents the pull cord (400) from automatically rewinding around the reel (200) if a user suddenly loses control of the pull cord (400) when mounting an antiskid chain.
