Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a target system that makes it possible to detect an impact position on the basis of an image. The target system comprises: an imaging device that images a target; and a collision position identification unit that, on the basis of an image captured by the imaging device of a flying object which has reached a state of slowed movement or a substantially stopped state after flying toward the target and colliding with a flexible sheet, identifies the collision position of the flying object on the target. When the imaging device is disposed in front of the target, the collision position identification unit uses an image captured in a certain amount of time starting from when, upon impact of the flying object on the flexible sheet, the flying object collides with the flexible sheet to when the flexible sheet absorbs energy and the flying object is bounced back. The present technology can be applied, for example, to a target system for an airsoft gun that can fire BB bullets.

Abstract

The present disclosure pertains to a target system with which it is possible to improve handling. The target system is provided with: a target board made of a soft material for receiving, by warping, the collision of a BB bullet fired towards the target and inhibiting the BB bullet from rebounding; a detection unit for detecting an impact sound produced when the BB bullet collides with the target board; and an upper-side fixed member and a lower-side fixed member fixed to the upper side and the lower side of the target board. The target board is formed so as to maintain a shape of being stretched flat substantially vertically in front of a display with the upper-side fixed member and the lower-side fixed member being disposed at stipulated positions along the upper side and the lower side of the display, and so as to be capable of being wound around the upper-side fixed member or the lower-side fixed member serving as a shaft with the upper-side fixed member and the lower-side fixed member being detached from the stipulated positions. The present technology can be applied, e.g., to a target system for a soft airgun capable of firing BB bullets.

Abstract

[Problem] With prior-art biofilm treatment methods involving the use of microbial carriers, the microbial carrier filter beds get blocked as the biofilms grow, highly concentrated organic wastewaters, oily/fatty wastewaters, etc. cannot be stably treated, the appreciable costs incurred in dehydrating, drying, and incinerating the reduced-volume sludge of the generated excess sludge, treating the incineration ash, etc., are further increased, compounding the financial considerations relating to various spheres of operation. [Solution] A wastewater treatment carrier comprising core elements and microbial retaining elements, wherein the wastewater treatment carrier is characterized in that the microbial retaining elements are obtained by forming multi-ply threads in a multilevel or looped configuration, and the fibers of the multi-ply threads are formed in a slackened state so as to be capable of separating from each other in the wastewater. The invention can also be adapted to high-concentration organic wastewater and/or inflowing raw water having high load variability. The invention is also suitable for improving existing aerobic treatment tanks, and allows excess sludge and/or odor generation to be minimized. Moreover, the invention can be stably preserved for extended periods of time with a simple maintenance operation, and can yield stable treatment water quality.

Abstract

The present disclosure pertains to a target system designed so that projectile impact location, impact speed, and the like can be detected more accurately. This target device is configured to be provided with: a target panel to be used as a target for BB bullets shot from a soft air gun; a rear surface panel arranged to the rear-surface side of the target panel; a chassis for securing the target panel and the rear surface panel, and enclosing a space sandwiched by the target panel and the rear surface panel; and a detection unit for detecting the percussive sound produced when a BB bullet strikes the target panel. The detection unit is arranged in the enclosed space surrounded by the target panel, the rear surface panel, and the chassis. The present technique can be applied to, e.g., a target device capable of recovering BB bullets shot from a soft air gun.
