Abstract

The invention is directed to a slide track 100 with a movable selection segment 300a between an upstream slide way segment 101 and a downstream slideway segment 103 comprising multiple slide ways, wherein a continuous flow path is provided to a selected slide way. To ensure safe operation, multiple sensors are located in the slide track 100 for detecting the speed and position of the rider. The selection segment 300a moves only from a first position to a second position if the movement can be completed in time before the arrival of the rider at the exit of the selection segment 300a.
