Abstract

A safety tail comb is provided, which allows safe storage of a tail comb in a pocket, for example. The safety tail comb is configured with a tail section that pivots into an elongated cavity dimensioned to receive the tail section. Alternatively, the tail section is configured to slideably retract into an elongated cavity formed in the spine of a toothed portion of the safety tail comb.
