Abstract

The invention relates to an anti-intrusion wall for protecting the access to a building or part of a building from attacks caused by different means, such as an assault rifle, rotary cutting tools, or explosives. Said wall comprises a plurality of superimposed layers consisting of different materials, especially a fabric consisting of woven filaments for decelerating the degradation caused by rotary cutting tools. The wall also comprises composite panels consisting of a foam core and two outer skins. The judicious combination of the layers considerably increases the amount of time required for the destruction thereof.

The invention relates to a device for protecting against the impact of high-energy pressure waves (F) by absorbing energy, wherein said device includes a stack of several composite material layers (10, 12, 14), the first layer (10) being directed towards said waves (F), characterized in that at least one of the layers includes an upper skin (16-1), a web (20-1), and a lower skin (22-1) as well as bridges (24-1) for connecting the two skins that pass through said web and that can rupture in order to absorb the impact of said high-energy pressure waves.
