A wine bottle is sized to fit substantially into the wine glass in an inverted orientation with a removable bottle cap nested within the central punt, and with an upper rim of the wine bottle snap-fitted into a shallow groove formed in the wine bottle near a lower end thereof. This entire package is sterile-wrapped in a sealed shrink-wrap plastic or the like.
