IRRADIATION DEVICE FOR UV IRRADIATION OF A FLOWING MEDIUM
The invention relates to an irradiation device (1) for UV irradiation of a medium flowing through the irradiation device (1), in particular water or air, in order to inactivate microorganisms in the medium, the irradiation device comprising a housing (4) through which the medium is to flow, and at least one UV radiation-emitting radiation source (5) disposed within the housing (4). The inner face (6) of the housing (4) is reflective at least in some areas, with a reflectivity of at least 0.6 for the UV radiation emitted by the radiation source (5). The radiation source (5) is disposed in the housing (4) in such a way that the emitted radiation is reflected off the inner face (6) of the housing (4) and such that the emitted radiation constructively interferes with the reflected radiation. The invention further relates to an irradiation device in which at least one UV radiation-emitting radiation source (5), which is disposed within the housing (4), is attached by means of a holding device (22) designed such that the central axis (S) of the radiation source (5) forms an angle (alpha) with the central axis (R) of a reflector (21).

A device for subjecting air to UV(C) radiation comprises a UV(C) treatment chamber comprising a UV(C) source, a measuring device comprising one or more of a temperature sensor which measures the temperature on the wall of the UV(C) source; two temperature sensors downstream and upstream of the UV(C) source; and a UV(C) sensor for determining the intensity of the UV(C) radiation. The UV(C) source comprises at least one UV(C) lamp which is held by a lamp holder. The lamp holder comprises positioning elements for holding the measuring device and the lamp(s) in a fixed position. Electrical supply wires and signal wires are arranged such that they are shielded from the radiation from the UV(C) lamp(s).
An auxiliary device is tended and adapted to be accommodated in an air conduit forming part of an air conditioning device, to which air conduit first flow components, such as a fan, are connected for the purpose of bringing about a main airflow through the air conduit such that the whole main airflow flows through the auxiliary device. The auxiliary device has an arrangement of a number of air conditioning modules which in an active state of the relevant air conditioning module, each allow passage of a partial flow of the airflow and together allow passage of the whole main flow.
