Abstract
The rudder systems of yachts are increasingly being damaged by Iberian orcas off the French, Spanish and Portuguese Atlantic coasts and in the Alboran Sea. Attempted countermeasures are insufficient or forbidden. The invention proposes camouflaging the rudder (04), as an underwater element (02) to be protected, especially acoustically by a rudder protection means (03) as a camouflaging element (44) and thereby protecting the rudder from damage. For this purpose, a curtain (06) which, in the event of use, completely or at least partially axially surrounds the rudder (04) is provided as the rudder protection means (03), the bodies (08) of which curtain have a significantly different characteristic acoustic impedance (r) than water. The curtain produces strong echoes of the biosonar of the orcas, and said echoes obscure (generation of blurred contours for confusion) and/or conceal (generation of invisibility) the echo signal of the rudder (04). The rudder protection means (03) can be in the form of a hanging curtain (07) composed of chains (09) or lines (41) (acoustic, visual and haptic protective effect) or in the form of a rising curtain (27) (with bubble curtain (26), acoustic and visual protective effect). The rudder protection means (03) can be installed and activated very quickly in the event of use or can also be permanently integrated into the rudder (04).

DRY FOOD FOR FEEDING MARINE SPONGES, AND APPLICATION
ALFRED-WEGENER-INSTITUT, HELMHOLTZ-ZENTRUM FÜR POLAR- UND MEERESFORSCHUNG (Germany)
Inventor

Abstract
Known dry food, consisting of a feed base and a feed supplement, includes conventional mixtures and is not specially adapted for the marine sponge to be fed. The dry food according to the invention contains an amino acid composition in the feed supplement, corresponding directly or in a scaled manner with the amino acid composition of the entire marine sponge (preferably Chondrosia reniformis), a special protein complex thereof, e.g. collagen or tyrosine, or a special compound associated with a protein complex thereof, e.g. chitin. Experiments in a land-based, recirculating aquaculture growth system demonstrated that a significant increase in the collagen content of the sponge could be achieved by feeding with amino acid compositions identical to the sponge. The dry food is powder-fine and has particle sizes of preferably less than or equal to 10 μm. It can be stretched with algae meal as a feed base, and it is easy to store and to process. Further feed additives can be added to the feed supplement. The feed can preferably be given multiple times a day, thereby optimally emulating the natural feeding conditions for marine sponges.

Abstract
Known holders are complex or may lead to the capillary tube breaking; they do not have sufficient space for markings either. The holder (01) according to the invention is exclusively designed as a thin, planar area (10) which simultaneously acts as a handle (08) and as a field for markings (14) for attaching information (31) and only holds one individual capillary tube (02). The capillary tube is clipped into the carrier (03) in a break-proof manner and can also be removed again. The carrier (03) is somewhat thinner than the capillary tube (02), so that the latter protrudes laterally and can be additionally secured in the carrier (03) via stick-on labels (21) or adhesive strips. The holder (01) which is self-centering via bevels (16) can be inserted in spinners (23) of spectroscopy devices during sample analysis of the capillary tube (02). The holder can be produced as a mass product from (colored) plastic by means of 3D-printing and has the dimensions of approximately a paper clip. A multiplicity of holders (01) ("TubeTag") including the capillary tubes (02) having automatically aligned fields for markings (14) can be stored and clearly viewed in a collecting device (25).

Abstract
In the sorting apparatus (01) claimed by the invention, in the pass-through device (02), alternatively either planar passage openings (06) are provided in a carrier plate (05), having peripheral walls (11) as retaining elements (08) and climbing aids (09) as guide elements (07), or gap-shaped passage openings (06) are provided between adjacent rigid angle rails (15), wherein these have unchangeable exterior angles (17) as guide elements (07) and unchangeable interior angles (16) as retaining elements (08). The size of the effective pass-through openings (13, 14) of the passage openings (06) is variable. The claimed sorting apparatus (01) is particularly suitable for stress-free, voluntary self-sorting of crustaceans, in particular shrimp, in land-based aquaculture cultivation.

Abstract
Known micropumps transport liquid between a supply region and a working region exclusively by means of a capillary structure, no gas region having to be overcome. In the case of the micropump (01) claimed with the invention, the gas region is bridged by means of the capillary structure (17) and a continuous liquid exchange with constantly minimal volume is made possible. A capillary pipette (04), having a closed pipette tip (06) and an open pipette inlet (07), is used. The capillary structure (17) extends therebetween, preferably in the form of a rod (18) made of glass. The working region (03) of the micropump (01), which has a very small volume (400 μl), lies above the pipette tip (06). The gas region (09), which adjoins the supply region (02), lies above the working region. The supply region is preferably a region (14) of an open body of water (15). In order to prevent the ingress of particles (19) and organisms, the pipette inlet (07) is covered by a fine-meshed filter (10), which touches the rod (18). The micropump (01) is suitable particularly for measuring the fluorescence of living organisms (23) which are accumulated in the working region (03) and which increase their fluorescence when the liquid (13) is contaminated.

Abstract
Known test devices for the regular, legally required functional inspection of emergency showers operate with a relatively great expenditure of force and require a pump to empty the collection container. The test device (01) claimed in the invention has an inlet pipe (03) with a diameter large enough to completely receive a shower head. Bulky receiving funnels are not required. Furthermore, the height-based adjusting apparatus (05) of the inlet pipe (03) is weight-compensated by means of a deflected cable (06) and a counterweight (07), and therefore no great expenditure of force is required for vertical adjustment. Finally, a collection container (02) is positioned on a frame (17) at such a height that the collected water can be drained from the lower region thereof simply by means of gravity. Mechanical or electrical pumps are not required. To reach greater shower head installation heights, the inlet pipe (03) can also consist of a plurality of partial pipes (27, 28). The inlet pipe (03) and the receiving container (02) are preferably transparent. With the compact and easy-to-use test device (01), a local and regular inspection of all kinds of emergency showers can be carried out easily, reliably and in a splash-free manner.
The present invention relates to a material based on macroalgae, which contains green algae and red and/or brown algae and/or at least one further biomaterial; wherein the at least one further biomaterial is selected from the group consisting of white cabbage, red cabbage, fruit and vegetable lees, sugar beet chips, fermented or other vegetable leavings and by-product flows, microalgae and fish gelatins. The invention further relates to a method for the production of said material and the use of said material.

Abstract
Known methods and apparatuses operate in a circulation system and repackage the population of carrier bodies before launch into open water. In the invention, a relatively large carrier body (03) is introduced into a container (02) of appropriately matching size, and water (05) in which vital larvae (04) are present is washed around said carrier body (03) in a flow system, with a screen (27) preventing the larvae (04) from being washed out. During the pediveliger phase, optimal ambient conditions are thus achieved which lead to maximum population of the carrier body (03) with larvae (04), in which these have already firmly settled and can no longer be so easily washed away by natural environmental influences. Upon completion of the pediveliger phase, the container (02) is decoupled from its supply and sealed with a lid (33) in a water-tight manner. The carrier body (03) is transported to the site of its launch in the container (02) in the water (05) surrounding it together with remaining free larvae (04). It is lowered there into the open sea and then serves for artificial formation of reef. In the case of population with oyster larvae, it is thus possible to create artificial oyster beds having a very high oyster density.

Abstract
Known submersible filters having two filter regions for removing nutrients dissolved in water and excretions from aquatic animals in a container are often not fast or efficient enough. In the case of transports, filter systems are often lacking completely. According to the invention, the claimed submersible filter (01) has an air hose (18) parallel to the central tube (11) and, alternatively, concentric filter regions (14, 16) (alternative 1) or radially stratified filter regions (14, 16) (alternative 2). In the concentric arrangement, collection tubes (24) are additionally provided in the second filter region (16). Water circulation occurs by means of an air-lift pump principle, in this case also without power connection for mobile use, and optionally supportively by means of an electric intake pump (37), which has the advantage of good controllability. The cleaned water - together with introduced air for aerating the water - leaves the submersible filter (01) via a common outlet opening (22) in the end tube (20), producing a very good mixing effect in the submersible filter (01). This is extremely compact (water bucket size), easy to handle and immediately ready for use. In both design alternatives, the submersible filter (01) is suitable in particular as a load or emergency filter when transporting aquatic animals in containers.

Abstract
Known facilities do not produce sufficient production rates of aquatic animals. For this purpose, the aquatic animals must be divided into age cohorts. The production facility (01) according to the invention has multiple conical water containers (02) about a central collecting container (08) over a receiving container (13). Supply line devices (17) in the upper region (04) of the water containers (02) provide a circular flow (18) in the water containers (02), and the aquatic animals to be selected are thereby flushed into the central collecting container (08) via overflow devices (05) on the water containers (02) and from the central collecting container into a receiving container (13), from which the aquatic animals can be removed. The receiving container (13) is arranged in a return flow tank (14), from which the inflowing water is returned to the supply line devices (17) via a pump (16) and a filter system (15) in a closed circular flow (RAS). Cultivation towers (26) can be arranged in the water containers (02) as optimal habitats. The land-based aquaculture facility (01) which can be parameterized and scaled can be used preferably for a controllable breeding process of marine amphipods (gammaridea) as animal feed.

Abstract
A known malfunction module has an individual electromechanical malfunction system. In a measurement body (01) according to the invention, an electrofluidically operating first malfunction system (09) is provided, by means of which, in the event of a malfunction, all rudders (04, 05, 06) are moved suddenly into their zero position and are fixed there. To this end, all rudders (04, 05, 06) are connected to pressure cylinders (11), which are automatically fluidically pressurised by a central pressure vessel (10) in the event of a malfunction, in particular a power cut. A piston rod (15) is ejected suddenly and drives with a guide element (16) into a receiving element (18) on the rudders (04, 05, 06) and in so doing moves said rudders back into their zero position and locks them there. The airfoils (03) are optionally pivoted towards the measurement body (01) via a second malfunction system (24). Further optional malfunction systems (28, 29) provide a failsafe option and self-inflating air cushions (30). The measurement body (01) can fly independently or be towed; it can be used in the air or water. In particular, it is used to explore scientific measurement data in inaccessible areas.

Abstract
The harvesting of caviar from living sturgeons, and caviar-like products from living fish or living crustaceans is particularly sustainable, and also highly efficient economically. In the prior art, the living, mature eggs are treated with calcium cations, thereby enzymatically forming a structurally strengthened egg integument. In the method according to the invention, the living, mature eggs, which in fish and crustaceans have three or more layers in the egg integument, are brought into contact in a potassium exposure step in a solution of deionized water and potassium cations, wherein the potassium cation concentration and the water temperature have no adverse effect on the living eggs. The eggs form a new stabilization layer (SS) in the egg integument by means of continuous electrical depolarization. Said stabilization layer is elastic, and gives the caviar or caviar-like product a new texture and a new behavior in further use. Potassium cations as an applied technical auxiliary substance are not contained in the end product. A supplementary treatment with calcium cations is possible. The products that can be produced according to the invention have a particularly long shelf life, and can even be frozen without loss of quality.

Abstract
The known sorting device consists of a vertical grid unit with a plurality of slit openings, the size of which are adapted to the fish and through which the fish can voluntarily swim. For a size adaptation of the slit openings (07) that causes as little stress possible, the sorting device (01) according to the invention has at least a carrier plate (15) and an adjustment plate (16) having an identical arrangement and size of the slit openings (07). The adjustment plate (16) is arranged in a displaceable manner on the carrier plate (15) such that the horizontal and vertical webs (08, 09) on the adjustment plate (16) cover or reveal, depending on their position, the slit openings (07) on the carrier plate (15), thereby forming effective slit openings (07e). In the event of a lateral displaceability, only the width of the effective slit openings (07e) is adapted, and the height thereof remains constant. The claimed sorting device (01) is particularly suitable for stress-free voluntary self-sorting, in a fixed grid unit (03), or for low-stress active sorting, in a grid unit (03) drawn through the water tank (02), of flatfish in aquafarming.

Abstract
Triggering devices in which the load force of a suspended load does not act on the triggering mechanism operate in a load-force-independent manner using an advantageously low triggering force. Known triggering devices (tow couplings) operate with triggering lever, steering lever and triggering gear, which can however have undefined states with respect to one another, which can jeopardise the triggering. In the triggering device (01) according to the invention, the steering lever (10) therefore has an angular design, and in the CLOSED position of the triggering device (01) contacts a first contact surface (19) in the housing (02) and in the OPEN position of the triggering device (01) contacts a second contact surface (20) in the housing (02). The steering lever (10) only adopts defined positions in the housing (02); in the CLOSED position, said steering lever is positioned shortly before the dead-centre position (41) in relation to the triggering lever (05) and intends to open automatically. After the practically force-free unlocking of the triggering lever (05), a tension spring (14) pulls the triggering lever (05) into the defined OPEN position. The claimed triggering device (01) can thus operate reliably even under very adverse environmental conditions. In particular, it is particularly suitable, in a sea-water-resistant design, for underwater applications at great depths, for example for deploying autonomous measuring equipment.

Abstract
The invention relates to batteries, which, in order to be used in deep sea depths, are encapsulated in solid pressure housings or are designed to be pressure-neutral. For this purpose, the batteries are filled with a hydraulic oil and a complex, reversibly deformable pressure equalization element is provided, which is in contact both with the surroundings and with the hydraulic oil and ensures that pressure is transmitted such that the components do not experience any pressure difference. According to the invention, the pressure-neutral battery (01) directly has as a housing the housing (02) of the battery cells (03), which housing has openings (06), and therefore heavy pressure housings are not required. A cover plate (09) closes the housing (02) in a pressure-tight manner. On the bottom side (10), the cover plate (09) has a cavity (11), which lies above the openings (06) and is filled with the hydraulic fluid (05) and in which a pressure bag (13) is arranged. Said pressure bag can be a commercially available medical tubular bag (36) having an open supply tube (14), which is connected to the hydrostatic pressure column. By stringing together a plurality of commercially available battery blocks (04), the power of the pressure-neutral battery (01) can be changed.

Abstract
The invention relates to a pressure-neutral electric motor (Ol), characterized in that the pressure compensation element (04) is designed as a closed pressure bag (09) having an open supply hose (10), which leads out of the housing (02) in a pressure-tight manner, and lies around the motor unit (03), forming a gap, such that the pressure bag (09) is completely enclosed by pressurized fluid (07). The reversibly deformable pressure bag (09) fits very well to the preferably cylindrical housing (02) and the motor unit (03). It is particularly space-saving, and therefore the electric motor (01) can be designed to be particularly compact and light. The claimed pressure-neutral electric motor (01) is additionally cost-effective, because it is designed using commercially available components, particularly a simple tubular bag (18) as a pressure bag (09).

Abstract
Known multiple sample processors designed as multiple sample collectors having a plurality of syringes as piston pumps, the pistons of which can be displaced by spring force, are suitable for exclusively sucking samples in. In the case of the multiple sample processor (01) according to the invention, each piston (21) is connected to two coil springs (06), which both are designed either as tension springs (07) or as compression springs (08). In the case of each piston (21), either two tension springs (07) and the release lever (29) are provided in a first installation position I or two compression springs (08) and the release lever (29) are provided in a second installation position II, which is rotated by 180° from the first installation position I. When the release lever (29) is triggered by the driver (11), the pushing of the piston (21) into the cylindrical housing (20) is brought about in the first installation position I and the pushing of the piston (21) out of the cylindrical housing (20) is brought about in the second installation position II. The claimed multiple sample processor (01) therefore can be used reversibly, both in collection operation and in ejection operation, in a variety of applications, for example including underwater ("water sample collector"). The conversion between the two installation positions I, II is performed in a simple manner without tools.

Abstract
Known membrane mountings for permeable membranes for separating suspended or dissolved materials in a fluid (crossflow membrane filtration) exhibit merely a poor pressure stability when the degree of porosity is good and vice versa. The membrane mounting (01) according to the invention is characterized in that connection braces (08) are arranged between a cylindrical tube wall (11) with a central longitudinal axis (10) and a central cylinder (12) along the central longitudinal axis (10) in a radial manner about the central cylinder (12) in a uniform symmetrical distribution, said connection braces ending in foot points (09) at the tube wall (11). The pores (05) in the tube wall (11) are arranged in a specified distribution. The membrane mounting (01) according to the invention thus ensures a high-pressure stability with a simultaneously high degree of porosity, for example for deep-sea uses (up to 400 bar) in an underwater mass spectrometer with a high degree of measurement sensitivity and precision. An optional heating device (19) in the central cylinder (12) improves the crossflow behavior by means of a homogeneous heating with a small controllable energy input. The membrane mounting (01) can be produced in a reproducible manner using 3D printing. Along with the use of the membrane mounting in measuring devices and osmosis methods, yet another preferred use is in electrolyte separation methods.

Many laboratory experiments are based on the most faithful reproduction possible of a natural biotope. Benthic mesocosms reproduce the water region near the bottom, with the inhabitants that live there and their interactions. In tidal flats, the tide with its ebb and flow should be taken into consideration. In the prior art, an inverted tide simulation is carried out, in which the water height in a container is constant and a substrate platform with organisms is positioned at different heights with respect to the water, using a height-adjustable suspension device (06). A flow simulation is, however, not carried out. For this reason, the claimed device (01) comprises two flat pipe arrangements (13, 14) which are arranged along the fill height (04) of the water (20) on opposite sides (43, 44) of the container (02) and comprise flow openings (15) arranged opposite one another, wherein in a first control phase (I) of the control unit (12) water (20) is pumped into the one pipe arrangement (13) in order to simulate the flow behaviour during an ebb tide, and in a second control phase (II) water (20) is pumped into the opposite pipe arrangement (14) in order to simulate the behaviour during a flood tide, and wherein the height-adjustable suspension device (06) is synchronised with the control device (12) with respect to the simulation of ebb and flow.

Known towed bodies can be maneuvered in all three dimensions but, as pure airborne targets, do not have a large load capacity. The towed body (01) according to the invention is designed for bearing large loads and serves exclusively scientific and commercial measurement purposes. To achieve very good aerodynamic properties, the towed body has a fuselage (02) comprising a triangular transverse plane (15), wherein the upper face (18) is designed to be wide and the lower face (19) is designed to be narrow, and comprising a curvature (23) only on the upper face (18), whereas the lower face (19) runs straight. The wings (03) are bent and consist of two segments (07, 08). Small segments (07) are arranged at the bottom of the fuselage (02), which small segments point downwards and stabilise the towed body (01), large segments (08) are connected to the small segments (07), which large segments point upwards and generate lift. In the front and middle region of the fuselage (02) and in the small segments (07) there are load chambers (10, 11) which can have user-friendly segment chambers (22). The unit chamber (09) comprising various units (27), such as a position-stabilising gyroscope system, an anti collision module, accumulators, a generator and an emergency parachute system (25), is located in the rear region of the towed body (01).
Known high-pressure-resistant specimen chambers have complex progressive metal seals. Non-high-pressure-resistant specimen chambers have complex clamps for the viewing windows. In the case of the high-pressure-resistant specimen chamber (01) according to the invention, viewing windows (07, 08) having plane-parallel raised areas (23, 25), which protrude into viewing openings (13, 14) of clamping elements (11, 12) in an accurately fitting manner, and high-pressure-resistant seals (09, 10) are provided. Thus, a compact, very well joined high-pressure-resistant specimen chamber results. The elements are composed of a plastomer that can be plastically deformed when high pressure is applied. In the production, flat disks (32, 34) composed of polycarbonate and sealing rings (31, 33) composed of polytetrafluoroethylene are inserted into the specimen chamber (01) and a pressure above the pressure at which plastic deformation starts is applied to the specimen chamber after the final assembly. The flat disks (32, 34) and the sealing rings (31, 33) thereby form the viewing windows (07, 08) and high-pressure-resistant seals (09, 10). The specimen chamber (01) can be used as a parameterizable flow-through chamber for the microscopic in situ observation of living organisms under an overpressure corresponding to the high pressure that is used, said overpressure corresponding to the depth of the sea, e.g., 500 m and more, of the habitat of the organisms.

Abstract
Known detection methods for foreign substances mark gene sequences of living cells and detect, in a spatially resolved manner, the translocation of the stably expressed marked fusion constructions within the recombinant cells under the influence of foreign substance. The detection method according to the invention utilizes the dynamic expression behavior of recombinant living cells and detects in an integral manner. The cell-inherent defense system is preferably used, wherein gene sequences ai-mi in recombinant cells (19) as a preferred means in a test kit for performing the detection method code for transporter proteins Ai comprising fluorescent marker proteins Mi as fusion constructs Ai-Mi. The cell-inherent defense system is activated under the influence of foreign substance. Transporter proteins Ai that transport the foreign substance out of the living cells (19) are expressed in an increased manner. Together with the transporter proteins Ai, the marker proteins Mi are also expressed in an increased manner, which is optically detected and enables corresponding conclusions about the foreign substance (03). The detection method is preferably implemented by means of an arrangement (04) of genetically modified aquatic organisms (06) or living cells (19) thereof, which are permanently exposed in a water-permeable habitat tank (05) in an aquatic system (01) in the vicinity of a technical installation (02).

Abstract
Towed flying objects (01) are towed through the air on a cable by an aircraft and in the process carry out measurements for, for example, environmental observation and monitoring processes in inaccessible areas, for example in the polar regions. The passive navigation by means of the aircraft is hazardous here, in particular at very low heights and when obstacles arise. Known flying objects (01) are controlled independently at the flying height by means of an automatic flight control system and have an adjustment device of the aerofoils which is retracted into the non-deflected home position in the event of malfunctions occurring. The flying object (01) according to the invention is, in contrast, independently fully manoeuvrable in all three spatial directions and has an aileron (21), a pitch elevator (27) and a stabilizer (28). An automatic flight control system (32) has, in addition to a stabilization module (33) which also serves specifically for avoiding dangerous oscillating motions of the flying object (01) when bringing it in, an avoidance module (34) which operates in the three-dimensional space, and a malfunction system (36) which, in the event of a failure of its power supply owing to a malfunction, moves the aileron, pitch elevator and stabilizer (21, 27, 28) into the non-deflected home position in a purely mechanical fashion and securely locks them there, with the result that the flying object (01) can be brought in without manoeuvring operations.

The diffusion chamber (01) according to the invention is equipped with a high-resolution pH optode (07) and a compact spectrophotometer (13), the respective glass fiber optics of which are integrated into the central cylinder (03) of the diffusion chamber (01) by means of special structural measures. In the process, the pH optode (07) is designed in the form of a syringe and is inserted into a sample slide (20), the cannula (11) being inserted into a diagonal groove (32) and guided through a sealing ring (22) on the sample slide (20) in a gas-tight manner. Thus, very small substance samples (05) (<20 μΙ) can be measured while still ensuring that the measuring tip (28) is immersed into the edge region (29) of the substance sample (05) without disrupting the beam path (30) for the absorption measurement. The light-supplying and -removing optical fibers of the spectrophotometer are integrated into an upper and lower cylindrical optical system holder (23, 25), wherein the sample chamber (04) is sealed by the inserted lower optical system holder (25) via a spacer ring (27) and a minimum distance is ensured between the collimator lens (26) and the sample (05). The diffusion chamber (01) can be used when ascertaining oxygen-binding curves of small quantities of blood from very small organisms for example.

Abstract
In the known framework standing structure for the foundation of a wind turbine, three pairs of pillars are provided, which each consist of two pillars that are inclined and bent twice and which intersect above the centre of said pillars. In order to be able to bear greater loads and to compensate torsional forces better, in the framework standing structure (01) according to the invention, a further pair of pillars (15) is arranged in front of or behind each first pair of pillars (12) consisting of first pillars (02) that intersect at crossing points (13), the further pillars (16) of which further pair of pillars intersect at a further crossing point (19), which is however situated below the centre of said pillars. None of the first and further pairs of pillars (12, 15) touch each other. Owing to the diagonal arrangement of the pillars (02, 16) all the effective forces are largely distributed uniformly to said pillars, the effective forces being distributed to two levels owing to the contact-free duplication of the pairs of pillars (12, 15). The centre of the framework standing structure (01) remains free. It can absorb both torsional forces and bending forces particularly well and distribute them uniformly. Together with a very low weight of relatively few, structural elements that can be readily pre-assembled, particular advantages are produced for the offshore installation of wind turbines.

Abstract
The invention relates to a stand structure of the generic type, for example for offshore wind power installations, comprising legs arranged evenly around a vertical central axis and lower radial struts, which extend between the lower ends of the legs and the vertical central axis, where said struts meet at a common connection. In order to improve the stability of the stand structure (01), further radial struts (14) are provided according to the invention, which likewise meet at the common connection (13) and extend between said connection and the upper ends (04) of the legs (02). Additional lower radial struts (14, 09) are therefore connected to one another at the common connection (13) on the vertical central axis (03). In this manner applied forces (18) are optimally distributed to all legs (02), in particular the legs (02) on the side where the force (18) is applied are also loaded and the opposite legs (02) are no longer overloaded. Legs (02) and radial struts (14, 09) can preferably consist of simple steel tubes (29) or steel profiles (25) that are non-detachably (26, 30) or detachably (28, 31) connected to one another. The connections (11, 16) between legs (02) and radial struts (14, 09) and also the common connection (13) can be adapted to different loading conditions due to variations in location (36, 37).

Abstract
Known ejection devices can eject only a small number of objects by means of a relatively complex design. The ejection device (01) according to the invention comprises a vertically arranged, rotatable drum magazine (02) having a plurality of storage chambers (04) arranged in close proximity around the longitudinal axis (03) upon concentric circles (16), although all on different radial axes (14) of the drum magazine (02). Arranged closely below the drum magazine (02) is an immovable base plate (06) having a number of ejection openings (13) that matches the number of concentric circles (16), but said ejection openings (13) all being arranged on one common radial axis (14). The storage chambers (04) have openings (05) at the lower end face, so that stored objects (07) rest on the base plate (06). When a storage chamber (04) is rotated completely onto an ejection opening (13) by the rotation of the drum magazine (02), the stored object (07) automatically falls out. At this point in time, all other storage chambers (04) are still closed at least partially by the base plate (06). By means of a special arrangement of all storage chambers (04), a very high number of objects (07), such as numbered markers (34), can be successively ejected in an ordered sequence, more particularly underwater for surveillance purposes.

Abstract
Monitoring the presence of marine mammals on the basis of detecting the thermal signature (TSMM) has so far been carried out manually by observers or in simple, only partially automated prototypes. With such methods, fast and reliable image processing combined with a high degree of user-friendliness is problematic. The method according to the invention comprises an image correction and an unweighted full image segmentation (SEG) in snippets in the image preprocessing step (FPP), the use of a threshold value algorithm on the basis of detected local contrast changes in the detection step (DET), the use of monitored learning with the aid of the support vector method (SVM) with a hyperplane (HE) for subdivision into two classes in the classification step (CLA), an automatic calculation of the distance of the detected thermal signature (TSMM) and its variation over time and space relative to the ship (RV) in the localization step (LOC), the possibility of an instantaneous check of the decision by an operator in the verification step (VER), and the automatic provision of user-specific image data (IRV) of the detected thermal signatures of marine mammals (TSMM) in the documentation step (DOC). An infrared camera system (IRC) with full or partial surround monitoring and an active gyroscopic stabilization relative to the horizon (HZ) are used to generate data.

Known towed bodies can be manoeuvred in three dimensions but do not have a large load capacity. A towed body disclosed herein is designed for bearing large loads, and has a fuselage comprising a triangular transverse plane, wherein the upper face is wide and has a curvature and the lower face is narrow and runs straight. The wings are bent and have small segments at the bottom of the fuselage, which point downwards and stabilise the towed body, and large segments connected to the small segments, which large segments point upwards and generate lift. Load chambers in the front and middle region of the fuselage and in the small segments can have user-friendly segment chambers. The unit chamber comprising various units, such as a position-stabilising gyroscope system, an anti collision module, accumulators, a generator and an emergency parachute system, is located in the rear region of the towed body.

Abstract
The processing of ovulated, mature eggs, which may be obtained naturally without killing the animal, has had unsatisfactory results up to this point, because the ovulated eggs usually burst. In the method according to the present invention, after the natural harvesting, the ovulated eggs are treated
exogenously using at least one signal transduction molecule also naturally occurring in the egg cell, such as hydrogen peroxide and/or calcium chloride. Ovoperoxidase is thus activated, which causes formation and hardening of an extracellular egg membrane. An absolutely harmless treatment possibility, which is unobjectionable in food law, for hardening the ovulated eggs has been
found by the treatment of the ovulated eggs using a molecule also naturally occurring in the egg cell, which is otherwise formed in the normal cell metabolism for avoiding polyspermia. The degree of hardening is adjustable through the treatment time. The hardened eggs, whose artificial hardening may be detected under the electron microscope by a special structure, may be preserved and stored better, because the method additionally has a bactericidal effect and avoids tyrosine crystallization.

INDIRECT CALIBRATION METHOD FOR AN ELECTROMAGNETIC INDUCTION METHOD, AND MEASURING ASSEMBLY FOR CARRYING OUT THE METHOD
Elecromagnetic induction methods are also used in geophysics on conductive substrates (09) by evaluating the ratio of generated magnetic primary and secondary fields (HP, HS), for example in order to determine sea ice thickness. The required calibration is carried out by means of a calibration coil (10). In order to improve the accuracy and to simplify the measuring assembly (01), according to the invention the calibration coil (10) and the receiving coil (08) are permanently inductively coupled to one another, whereby a calibration field (HCX) is generated at the calibration coil (08) by a calibration pulse and thereby a magnetic flux is induced in the receiving coil (08). Furthermore, the calibration method is designed in two stages. In the first stage (S1), a calibration factor (HCX/HP) is determined in a purely metrological manner depending on the generated mutual inductance (MRC) (electrical generation of the calibration pulse by a calibration signal generator (12) when the transmitting coil (02) is inactive), and, in the second stage (S2), the actual calibration of the measuring assembly (01) is carried out (inductive generation of the calibration pulse by the transmitting signal generator (03) when the transmitting coil (02) is active). The measured received voltage (URx) is calibrated via the secondary field (HS= HCX) known from the measured calibration factor (HCX/HP). A measuring assembly (01) preferably has two switches (14, 15) for carrying out the two stages (S1, S2).
The production of caviar from live sturgeon and caviar-like products from live fish or live crustaceans is particularly sustainable and also highly efficient in economic terms. In the prior art, the live, mature eggs are treated with calcium cations, thereby enzymatically forming a structurally solidified egg envelope. In the process according to the invention, the live, mature eggs, which in the case of fish and crustaceans have three or more layers in the egg envelope, are contacted in a potassium exposure step in a solution of deionized water and potassium cations, whereby the potassium cation concentration and the water temperature have no damaging effect on the live eggs. The eggs form a new stabilization layer (SS) in the egg envelope by arrested electrical depolarisation. This is elastic and gives the caviar or caviar-like product a new texture and behavior for further use. Potassium cations as a technical adjuvant used are not present in the final product. A supplementary treatment with calcium cations is possible. The products that can be manufactured with the invention have a particularly long shelf life and can even be frozen without loss of quality.
