The invention relates to a method for adhesively bonding substrates together, in particular foams, comprising the steps of: a) applying a dispersion adhesive (DK) onto a region of a first substrate (S1) to be bonded by means of roller application; b) establishing contact between the region of the first substrate (S1) to be bonded and a second substrate (S2) to be bonded; c) pressing the two substrates (S1, S2) together such that an adhesively bonded composite (V') consisting of the first and second substrate is obtained, in particular such that the adhesively bonded composite has an initial adhesion; wherein the dispersion adhesive contains an aqueous polyurethane dispersion and a plasticiser.

An adhesive based on a polychloroprene dispersion is characterized in that a buffer system comprising at least one acid compound and glycerin is included in order to activate and stabilize the adhesive. A freeze-thaw stability of the adhesive is achieved by surprisingly high proportions of glycerin; however, a good initial adhesion is simultaneously ensured. The glycerin proportions range from 8-50 wt. %, preferably 14-40 wt. %, particularly preferably 22-30 wt. %. An organic acid is preferably used as the acid compound.
C08L 33/06 - Homopolymers or copolymers of esters of esters containing only carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen, the oxygen atom being present only as part of the carboxyl radical
The invention relates to a method for spraying a one-component adhesive onto surfaces (21), which offers at least two modes, in which the one-component adhesive is either sprayed on its own or a one-component adhesive is sprayed jointly with an accelerator component. A device (1) for carrying out the method allows simple switching between the first and the second mode. In addition to a spraying arrangement for the one-component adhesive, the device (1) comprises an additional spraying arrangement for additional spraying of an accelerator component.

According to the invention, a method for exposing an adhesive contained in a container to a gas for regulating the pH comprises the following steps: a) providing the adhesive in a storable state in a container; b) connecting a gas cartridge (4) containing a gas to a line connection (2) of the container for regulating the pH before the adhesive is used; c) waiting for a defined time period for regulating the pH to elapse; and d) removing the gas cartridge (4) from the line connection (2) for the subsequent use of the adhesive before a pot life has elapsed, wherein a BiB package (1) (BiB: bag-in-box) is used as the container.
