Abstract

A yarn-utilizing picture canvas that without the need to use an embroidery needle and without bonding by touch of hand, etc. on an adhesive surface, allows anyone to easily draw a picture only by pasting a yarn to the canvas. The yarn-utilizing picture canvas is yarn-utilizing picture canvas (1) comprising sheetlike base member (2) having its one major surface formed into a plane provided with picture by pasting of underglaze paper (4) and, sequentially superimposed on the picture provided plane, adhesive layer (5) capable of sight through and cover sheet (6) detachable from the adhesive layer (5) capable of sight through.

Abstract

A method of treating a yarn, in which in a picture making by pasting a yarn onto a picture canvas, the yarn prior to the pasting is treated to thereby realize unprecedented diversified expression. The method of treating a yarn for use in picture making is a method of treating yarn (7) to be pasted to surface adhesive layer (5) of picture canvas (1), comprising further twisting the yarn (7), or untwisting the yarn (7), or untwisting the yarn (7) in multiple wound form so as to take up a single yarn or double yarn, or cutting the yarn (7) into smithereens so as to realize cottonlike or powdery form, prior to the pasting to the surface adhesive layer (5).

Abstract

Intended is to provide a thread using drawing canvas, for enabling everyone to draw a picture easily not by using an embroidering needle but by merely adhering the thread to the canvas without any manual touch on an adhesive face. The thread-using drawing canvas (1) adopts the constitution, in which a design paper (4) is adhered to one face of a plate-shaped base material (2) thereby to form a design forming face having the design, and in which a transmissive adhesive layer (5) and a cover sheet (6) to be removably mounted on the transmissive adhesive layer (5) are laminated sequentially in the recited order on that design forming face.
