Abstract

The invention relates to a device for connecting a motor vehicle windshield to a component, in which the edge (25) of the component (23) facing the windshield (20) is matched to the edge (24) of the windshield (20) facing said component. A row of individual primary coupling elements (27) is present on the bottom of the component (23) that are distributed according to a certain arrangement pattern. A number of secondary coupling elements (28) equal to the number of primary coupling elements (27) is present, said secondary coupling elements being matched to the primary coupling elements (27) of the component (23). Each secondary coupling element (28) is disposed on a holding part (21) comprising two layout areas (31; 32), the first layout area (31) extending on the bottom of the windshield (20) into the edge region thereof and thus being permanently attachable, and the second layout area (32) extending into the edge region of the component (23) with the primary coupling elements (27). In the second layout area (32) of the holding part (21), the associated secondary coupling element (28) is disposed in the alignment of the associated primary coupling element (27) of the component (23).

Abstract

Disclosed is an injection mold (10) for producing window units composed of a window (10) and a frame (12). Said injection mold (10) comprises two mold halves (13; 14), the inside of which is provided with at least one primary cavity (15; 16). The wall of said primary cavity (15; 16) is embodied as a female mold for the associated part of the window (11) and the frame (12). A secondary cavity (21; 22) which encompasses a bottom (23; 26) and two sidewalls (24, 25; 27, 28) and projects inward and outward from the base of the frame (12), is provided on the inside of each mold half (13; 14), in the base region of the frame (12). A molded element (31; 32) made of a flexible material that has a stable volume is inserted into the secondary cavity (21; 22), rests against the wall of the secondary cavity (21; 22), and comprises the primary cavity (15; 16) of the associated mold half (13; 14) on the external molded element surface facing away from the associated mold half (13; 14).

Abstract

In the method for connecting a component to a base body, the base body (111) and the component (112) are positioned on a common support in such a way that their connecting regions are adjacent to one another. A mold part (141) is placed on the base body (111) and the component (112), which mold part (141) projects beyond the connecting region of the base body (111) and the component (112), which mold part (141), in the connecting region of the base body (111) and the component (112), has a cutout (142), which is matched thereto, for a hardening connecting compound, and which mold part (141) is produced from a flexible material. A pressing force (15) is exerted on that side of the mold part (141) which faces away from the base body (111) and from the component (112), and the connecting compound is filled with an excess pressure into the cutout (142) of the mold part (141). After the hardening of the connecting compound, the mold part (141) is lifted off and the base body (111) with the component (112) which is connected to it is removed from the support.

Abstract

The lifting window (15) has a windowpane (17) which can be raised and lowered by means of a lifting device and which is guided here by two guide rails (24; 25). In the region of at least one side edge (19), the windowpane (17) is guided, at a point remote from the lifting device, only indirectly by the associated guide rail (24) by means of an adjusting device (38). The adjusting device (38) has a guide strip (39) which interacts with the associated guide rail (24). The guide strip (39) is guided by means of a guide device (41) so as to be moveable at least approximately perpendicularly to the windowpane (17). Said guide strip (39) can be adjusted relative to the windowpane (17) by means of an adjustment device (42) and can be fixed in the desired relative position by means of a fixing device.

Abstract

In the method of mating a holder (12) to a disc (10) the mating surface of a holding part of the holder (12) is treated with a low-pressure plasma, by flaming, with a corona treatment or by fluorination. The mating surface of the disc (10) is cleaned. An adhesive is applied to the mating surface of the holding part of the holder (14) and/or to the mating surface of the disc (10). The holding part of the holder (12) is placed onto the mating surface of the disc (10) and pressed onto it.

Abstract

In a window unit according to the invention composed of a window pane and a frame, the frame has two profiled sections. The first profiled section serves for a connection to the window pane and generally extends along the entire window pane edge and bears against said window pane at an edge region or at two or three edge regions. The second profiled section serves for a connection to a decorative strip and therefore generally extends only over a predefined length section of the frame. The second profiled section of the frame generally has a plurality of length sections with a contact face for the decorative strip. In addition, the second profiled section generally has a plurality of length sections with in each case one continuous recess, which is situated in the horizontal projection region of the decorative strip, for a retaining strip. Provided on the underside of the decorative strip is a longitudinally-running recess with a cross sectional restriction. Each retaining strip has a cross sectional widening which is matched to the cross sectional restriction on the decorative strip in order to provide a clip effect. Each retaining strip has, at the side facing away from the decorative strip, a retaining plate whose horizontal projection extends at least in regions beyond the horizontal projection of the recess in the second profiled section of the frame. The retaining plates of all the provided retaining strips are expediently connected to one another in order that the retaining strips can be inserted together from below through the recesses in the second profiled section of the frame, in order to be able to clip the decorative strip onto said retaining strips from above.
