Abstract

A system for fluid processing includes a filter container configured for submersible deployment in a marine environment. In some embodiments, the filter container includes a housing shaped to conform to ISO shipping container dimensions, one or more screens configured to permit ingress of ambient seawater while excluding suspended solids, a filtered fluid outlet, and a filtered fluid conduit positioned within the housing. In some embodiments, a stratified media bed surrounds at least a portion of the filtered fluid conduit and includes a first gravel layer, a sand layer, and a transition gravel layer arranged from outside to inside. A system is provided for the thermal separation of a process liquid using an immiscible liquid, in accordance with some embodiments. In some embodiments, the system comprises a precipitate extraction evaporator configured to receive the process liquid and immiscible liquid within an enclosed vessel. In some embodiments, the process liquid is injected into the immiscible liquid and undergoes phase change to form steam. Abstract

In some embodiments, the disclosure is directed to a wire screen system comprising one or more thick and thin wires arranged in an alternating configuration and coupled to supporting rods. In some embodiments, each of the thin wires is approximately 50% or less the thickness of the thick wires at their respective bases. The screen system may take on various forms, such as flat, curved, or cylindrical. In some embodiments, the cylindrical tube is separable into two halves. The thick, thin, and/or short wires may feature a wedge profile, narrowing toward the supporting rods, with the base oriented to face the direction of flow. In some embodiments, short wires, which may be approximately 50% or less the length of the thick and/or thin wires, may be interspersed. In cylindrical configurations, wire widths may taper inward toward the centerline, enhancing the ability of the screen to stay free of debris.

A fill valve system is disclosed for regulating fluid delivery into a tank or vessel using a combination of mechanical and hydraulic actuation. In some embodiments, the system includes a valve housing with a removable housing cap for internal access, a float arm pivotably coupled to the housing, and/or a float responsive to fluid level changes. In some embodiments, internal actuation components include a pin arm, arm linkage, poppet, diaphragm, and poppet pin. The diaphragm assembly regulates flow through a valve seat via pressure differentials created by a bleed hole mechanism. In some embodiments, a rotatable lock and stem coupling enable angular adjustment of the valve housing relative to an inlet stem, with discrete indexing positions for vertical alignment. In some embodiments, the system further includes a cleaning rotation feature to prevent mineral buildup. Various aspects of the systems and methods described herein are particularly suitable for low-pressure environments.

Abstract

Embodiments include a fluid valve with a modular and/or replaceable fluid control assembly configured and arranged to require maintenance over a product life of the fluid valve. The modular and/or replaceable fluid control assembly includes at least one portion including a setting or presetting configured and arranged to control fluid flow behavior in the fluid valve. A toilet having a tank to receive water and a bowl connected with the tank. Abstract

Embodiments of the invention provide a gasket for a fluidic seal. Some embodiments include a flush valve to a toilet tank, where the gasket has a raised center portion and lowered inner and outer portions. In some embodiments, the gasket includes a plurality of recesses, troughs or grooves. Each of the three portions of the gasket has a bottom groove that can permit deformation and increases sealing capabilities when the groove either widens or narrows.
