Abstract

In the present invention, individual connector parts 10 of an aseptic connector comprise: a connector body 1 in which a facing surface 11 retains an opening part of a flow passage; a film member 2 that closes the opening part; and a plate-form tab member 3 connected to the film member 2, the tab member 3 rotating from a closed position at which the tab member 3 is accommodated on the facing surface 11 such that a first surface 3a faces the facing surface 11, to an open position at which the tab member 3 projects and extends to the outside of the connector body 1. The tab member 3 has a ring part 31 into which the finger of a user is inserted, and a shaft-form part 32 that protrudes from one side surface 3c of the tab member and serves as a rotary shaft. The connector body 1 has a bearing part 14 that pivotally supports the shaft-form part 32, which is inserted through a long guide hole 14a. The position at which the shaft-form part 32 is pivotally supported when in the open position is shifted vertically from that when in the open position, whereby the first surface 3a of the tab member 3 is adjusted so as to be positioned at the same height as an imaginary boundary surface between two connector parts 10 in close contact with each other when the two connector parts 10 are joined.

Abstract

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a fluid cylinder in which stroking while rotating with high precision is possible while particularly reducing power consumption and achieving a compact size. This fluid cylinder (1) has a cylinder body (2) and a shaft member (3) supported inside the cylinder body (2), the fluid cylinder characterized in that stroking in the axial direction is possible while the shaft member is rotated due to the action of a fluid. A rotation driving part (10), which causes the shaft member to rotate on the basis of the rotary pressure from the fluid, and a stroke driving part (11), which causes the shaft member to stroke on the basis of a cylinder control pressure from the fluid, are provided apart from each other inside the cylinder body.

Abstract

An object is especially to provide a metal-air battery that ensures a high output and continuance of the output over a long period of time as compared with a conventional one. A metal-air battery in the present invention includes a case, air electrodes disposed on both sides of the case, and a plurality of metal electrodes disposed inwardly separately from the air electrodes. The metal electrodes are opposed to one another via a space (S). The metal-air battery of the present invention can inhibit the reaction product from depositing between the air electrode and the metal electrode. A degree of freedom of a distance between the air electrode and the metal electrode is high. As described above, the high output and the continuance of the output over a long period of time are ensured.

Abstract

An FRP drive shaft includes an end joint joined to at least one end of an FRP cylinder via an outer collar. The end joint includes a serrated portion on an outer periphery thereof. The outer collar includes a small-diameter collar portion and a large-diameter collar portion. The serrated portion is press-fitted into an inner periphery of the FRP cylinder and fixed to an inner periphery of the small-diameter collar portion. A gap between an inner periphery of the large-diameter collar portion and an outer periphery of the FRP cylinder is filled with an adhesive for fixing the inner periphery of the large-diameter collar portion and the outer periphery of the FRP cylinder to each other. An adhesive-accumulating space which partially increases a filling amount of the adhesive is formed between the inner periphery of the large-diameter collar portion and the outer periphery of the FRP cylinder.

Abstract

A flow regulator which is capable of suppressing hysteresis and includes a housing which includes a fluid inlet port, a fluid outlet port and a valve seat positioned in a communication channel, through which the fluid inlet port and the fluid outlet port are communicatively connected; a plunger guide cylinder coupled to the housing; a plunger provided at an end thereof with a valve body which moves toward and away from the valve seat, the plunger being inserted into the plunger guide cylinder to be freely movable in an axial direction; a spring which biases the plunger in a direction to bring the valve body into contact with the valve seat; and an electromagnetic device which moves the plunger in a valve opening direction against the spring. A clearance exists between an outer periphery of the plunger and an inner periphery of the plunger guide cylinder, the clearance being sufficient for the outer periphery of the plunger and the inner periphery of the plunger guide cylinder to be completely in noncontact with each other, to thereby make a sliding resistance therebetween zero in a state where axes of the plunger and the plunger guide cylinder are aligned. The valve body is formed as a ball, and one and the other of the valve body and the valve seat are made of a rigid body and an elastic material, respectively. The spring is a compression coil spring which is concentric with the plunger and is provided in an extended state between a fixed portion of the plunger guide cylinder and a movable portion on the plunger side.

Abstract

Disclosed is a slow-acting ON/OFF valve which includes a valve-opening pressure chamber that makes an actuating member (which actuates a valve body that comes into contact with and moves away from a valve seat to close and open a flow passage) move in a valve-opening direction against a spring biasing force in a valve-closing direction, and supplies air to the valve-opening pressure chamber, in minute increments, via a flow rate regulation valve. In this slow-acting ON/OFF valve, the dead time from the receipt of a valve-opening signal to the commencement of a valve-opening operation is short. A manifold is provided independently of the valve-opening pressure chamber. Between the valve-opening pressure chamber and the manifold, the following three valves are provided: a pressure regulation valve which allows air to flow into the valve-opening pressure chamber from the manifold until pressure in the valve-opening pressure chamber reaches a predetermined reserve pressure and which is closed upon the pressure in the valve-opening pressure chamber reaching the reserve pressure; a flow rate regulation valve which supplies air to the valve-opening pressure chamber from the manifold, in minute increments, after the pressure in the valve-opening pressure chamber reaches the reserve pressure; and an exhaust valve which rapidly discharges air in the valve-opening pressure chamber to the manifold upon pressure in the manifold dropping below the pressure in the valve-opening pressure chamber and is thereafter closed.

Abstract

A golf club shaft is provided in which the flexural rigidity of the distal end portion can be improved with no change in flexural rigidity on the proximal end while the dispersion in the values of the flexural rigidity in the circumferential direction can be reduced without the use of a distal-end reinforcing layer that causes discontinuous points in the lengthwise direction in flexural rigidity. A golf club shaft is provided which satisfies the following conditions: that the golf club shaft includes at least three rectangular carbon prepregs as full-length layers, that all the rectangular carbon prepregs are each composed of a 0-degree layer, the long fiber direction of which is coincident with the longitudinal direction of the golf club shaft, that all the rectangular carbon prepregs are configured such that the amount of overlapping of each rectangular carbon prepreg is zero on the large-diameter proximal end portion of the gold club shaft and increasingly overlaps at positions increasingly toward the distal end of the golf club shaft, and that wind start positions of the rectangular carbon prepregs are different from one another.
