Abstract
An auditory device assembly (1) comprises an earpiece (3) having an audio output device (7) for an ear (9) of a user and an audio processing unit (11, 33). The audio processing unit (11, 33) has a hearing-test mode and an audio streaming mode. In the hearing test mode the audio processing unit (11, 33) is arranged to determine at least one ear characteristic of the ear of the user based on at least one hearing test. In the audio streaming mode the audio processing unit (11, 33) is arranged to output an audio stream via the audio output device (7). The audio processing unit (11, 33) is arranged to adjust the output of the audio stream in the audio streaming mode based on the at least one ear characteristic determined in the hearing-test mode.

Abstract

Abstract
A first communication device (5) comprises: a peer-to-peer networking interface (7) arranged to establish a connection between the first communication device (5) and a second communication device via a peer-to-peer network; an audio input device (11) for receiving audio from a first user; and a voice recognition module (13) arranged to initiate establishing the connection between the first communication device (5) and the second communication device based on an audio voice command received from the first user via the audio input device (11). The first communication device (5) further comprises: a communication module (15) arranged to: transmit, via the peer-to- peer networking interface (7) to the second communication device, audio data based on the audio received from the first user via the audio input device (11); and arranged to receive audio data from the second communication device, via the peer-to-peer networking interface (7); and an audio output device (17) for outputting audio based on the received audio data.

Abstract
A communication device comprising a peer-to-peer communication interface arranged to establish a connection between the communication device and at least one other communication device via a peer-to-peer network, an audio input device for receiving audio from a user, a communication module arranged to transmit to one of the at least one other communication devices, via the peer-to-peer communication interface, audio data based on audio received from the user via the audio input device; and arranged to receive audio data from the one of the at least one other communication devices, via the peer-to-peer networking interface, an audio output device for outputting audio based on the received audio data, at least one ear defender for reducing noise exposure, an audio input device for receiving environmental audio, a noise level module arranged to determine a noise level based on the received environmental audio, and a positioning module arranged to determine a position of the audio input device corresponding with the determined noise level and arranged to associate the position of the audio input device with the corresponding noise level.
