Abstract

A cleaning attachment and rotary tool for cleaning are provided. A cleaning attachment includes a housing, a plurality of bristles, and a drive shaft extending from the housing in an axial direction, the drive shaft being coupled to the housing such that rotation of the drive shaft causes rotation of the housing. The housing includes a reservoir, a valve for dispensing the fluid from the reservoir, and at least one resilient element surrounding an axis defined by the drive shaft. Translation of the drive shaft along the axial direction causes compression of the resilient element, and compression of the resilient element causes the valve to open to dispense fluid from the reservoir. A rotary tool for cleaning includes the cleaning attachment and a rotary tool having a motor, power source, and a chuck configured to receive the drive shaft of the cleaning attachment.

Abstract

Improved cooling systems for handheld devices are disclosed. In some aspects, the cooling system may utilize air inlets disposed behind a guard to prevent debris or liquids from entering the handheld device and potentially causing damage to internal components of the handheld device. In aspects, a vents may be disposed on the guard to divert cooling air into a housing of the handheld device to cool internal components, such as the motor or a printed circuit board (PCB). In additional or alternative aspects, a motor mount may be provided that includes ribs defining air channels to divert or direct cooling air to components to be cooled. The air channels provided by the motor mount may enable the cooling air to reach portions of the internal components that may be distant from the air inlets of the housing.

A theft prevention system includes a robotic garden tool that includes a housing, and a set of wheels coupled to the housing and configured to rotate to propel the robotic garden tool on an operating surface. The robotic garden tool further includes at least one wheel motor coupled to one or more wheels of the set of wheels to drive rotation of the one or more wheels. The robotic garden tool further include a first electronic processor configured to detect a potential theft event associated with the robotic garden tool. The first electronic processor may be further configured to engage in an anti-theft action in response to detecting the potential theft event. The anti-theft action may include ceasing at least one operation of the robotic garden tool until the first electronic processor receives a code indicating that the potential theft event should be ignored.

A battery pack for an electrical device including a housing defining a cavity and a plurality of ribs that extend inward toward the cavity.
