Abstract

The invention belongs to the ceramic sector, specifically to the manufacture of tiles for covering various surfaces, which can be used in the construction industry. The invention is an assembly of red paste and granulated dry powders using a pressing process, made up of a first load of red paste and second and/or subsequent loads of granulated dry powder deposited in the mould and pressed at a specific established pressure, the requirements of which are determined by the size, shape and surface area of the final product. The general procedure involves a loading process for supplying the raw material, an ejection process in which the product is removed from the pressing machine, a drying process for removing residual moisture, a process for sealing and enamelling in accordance with the texture, design and finish of the end product. The process involves two pressing steps: a first pressing step which makes it possible to remove the air from the raw material; and a second pressing step for adding granulated dry powder, as well as for moulding and achieving the required final degree of compaction. According to the product to be manufactured, more pressing loads and additions of granulated dry powder are required. The end products that are obtained from the process belong to groups Blla and Bllb, which comply with the features required for the production of ceramic products.
