The piston portion is in the piston passage and has an annular groove. The shaft and piston portions are connected via the rear end. The piston ring is at the annular groove. First and second portions of the piston ring are at first and second side portions of the piston portion respectively. The driving unit is coupled to the shaft portion and drives the piston portion to move back and forth between the front and rear ends via the shaft portion. A width of the annular groove at the first side portion is greater than that at the second side portion. The first portion moves along a width direction of the annular groove as the piston portion moves back and forth.

Abstract

Disclosed is an air compressor structure, including a cylinder, a piston, a cover, and an anti-return piece. The cylinder has multiple air holes. The piston is reciprocally coupled in the cylinder. The cover is assembled to the cylinder and has a column. Internal spaces of the cylinder and the cover are connected through the air holes. The anti-return piece is movably disposed between the cylinder and the cover. When the piston performs a first stroke, the piston moves close to the air holes to compress air in the cylinder. The compressed air passes through the air holes and lifts the anti-return piece to flow into the cover. When the piston performs a second stroke, a vacuum is formed in the cylinder as soon as the piston moves away from the air holes. The anti-return piece is driven by the vacuum and compressed air to cover and seal the air holes.

Abstract

A method of mounting a bearing to an air compressor including a shaft element having a first end defining a central cylindrical recess and a second is disclosed, which includes the steps of: fixing the second end of the shaft element to a center of a gear; inserting the first end of the shaft element through a central hole of a bearing to have an annular step of the shaft element abutted an inner ring of the bearing; and hitting the first end of the shaft element by a striking tool with a central pin to form an outwardly extending rim on the first end of the shaft element. Abstract

An enclosure for air compressors is generally composed of a first shell body and a second shell body, wherein the first shell body defines a plurality of through holes, and the second shell body is formed with a plurality of snap joints. Each through hole is defined by a cylindrical surface and a substantially conical surface, between which a step is defined. In use, the snap joints can be inserted into the through holes respectively to have the snap joints snatched by the steps 14 formed in the through holes, so that the first and second shell bodies can be quickly assembled. Abstract

A vehicle-carried air compression device includes a case installed with an air compressor therein, a tire repairing container containing a liquid adhesive, and a flexible linking tube. An air inlet coupler of the tire repairing container is connected with an air outlet manifold of the air compressor. An end of the flexible linking tube is coupled to an adhesive outlet coupler of the tire repairing container, and the other end of the flexible linking tube is combined with a protection adapter for coupling to a tire nipple. Before the protection adapter is connected with the tire nipple, the other end of the flexible linking tube is closed by the protection adapter, so that the liquid adhesive in the tire repairing container will not shoot out suddenly because of improper handling.

Abstract

An air compressor with enhanced air compressing effect comprises a mounting chassis with a coupling aperture, a piston having a piston rod with a crankpin linking bore and a piston head with an air acting face, a cylinder having an air chamber with an inner top wall, and a driving mechanism including a motor having a shaft and a rotational crank cam with an eccentric crankpin. The coupling aperture on the mounting chassis is bias disposed relative to the axial line of the cylinder. Both of the air acting face on piston head and inner top wall in cylinder are configured into corresponding slant planar surface. The eccentric crankpin on the crank cam pivotally links the crankpin linking bore on the piston rod of the piston so that rotary motion of the crank cam is converted into linear reciprocating motion. Thus, air compressing effect is substantially enhanced.
