The present disclosure relates to a front rail assembly for a vehicle framework comprising a first front rail and a second front rail, and a cross-member connecting the first and the second front rail, wherein the front rail assembly comprises an integrally formed lower shell, and an integrally formed upper shell joined to the lower shell, wherein the lower shell includes a lower portion of the first front rail, of the second front rail and of the cross-member, and wherein the upper shell includes an upper portion of the first front rail, of the second front rail and of the cross-member. The upper shell has a substantially L-shaped cross-section with an upward extending flange and an inward extending flange, and the upper shell is joined to the lower shell at the upward extending flange and at the inward extending flange. Abstract

The present disclosure relates to methods for manufacturing an inner panel of a vehicle door. The method comprises heating a steel blank to above an austenization temperature, and cooling the steel blank and deforming in a first press step while further cooling to form an intermediate blank. The plurality of blanks comprises a bumper beam blank and a pedestrian beam blank, and joining the blanks comprises forming one or more overlapping regions formed by partially overlapping the blanks with each other. The present disclosure further relates to unitary bumper beam assemblies obtainable by such methods.

The invention relates to a subframe, in particular front axle subframe, for a vehicle, in particular electric vehicle, having a first shell element and a second shell element which is rigidly connected to the first shell element and defines a cavity therewith. This allows at least one additional load path to be implemented in a direction parallel to the longitudinal center axis of the spacer element.
