A crane (1) comprises: a counterweight (32); and an upper structure (31) behind which the counterweight (32) is disposed. The transport posture width (W1) of a subject-to transportation configuration (5) including the upper structure (31) is smaller than the width of the counterweight (32). The crane further comprises at least two lateral cameras (61, 62) that image the left-right direction from the upper structure (31). The two lateral cameras (61, 62) are respectively arranged at a first position (P1a) on the left side and a first position (P1b) on the right side, the positions being outside the range of the transport posture width (W1). The two lateral cameras (61, 62) can be rearranged at a second position (P2a) on the left side and a second position (P2b) on the right side, respectively.

Abstract
In order to more easily optimize periphery monitoring, there is provided a periphery-monitoring device that displays a periphery of a work machine in an overhead view. The periphery-monitoring device includes distance measurement means for acquiring distance information to an object on the periphery of the work machine, display means for displaying the object in a first aspect in accordance with the distance information, and exclusion target determination means for determining at least a portion of the object having a distance measured by the distance measurement means within a prescribed range, as an exclusion target object, in a predetermined detection mode. During work, the display means displays the object on the periphery in the first aspect by excluding the object determined as the exclusion target by the exclusion target determination means, in the objects detected by the distance measurement means.

Abstract
Provided is a crane which allows counterweight mounting work to be carried out with a ladder stably engaged with the upperstructure. This crane comprises: an upperstructure 2 that is rotatably provided on an undercarriage 1; a counterweight 10 that is mounted on the upperstructure 2; and a ladder 13 for getting on and off a work platform 12 for the upperstructure 2. The ladder 13 has an engagement member 16 in which an inverted U-shaped engagement groove 16a is formed and a support member 15 that rotatably supports the engagement member 16. The engagement member 16 is formed with an elongated hole 16b into which a pin 19 provided on the support member 15 is inserted. When the upperstructure 2 sinks during the mounting of the counterweight 10, the engagement member 16 rotates and follows the downward movement of an engagement-receiving portion 12b, and thus it is possible to prevent the engagement groove 16a from lifting and coming off from the engagement-receiving portion 12b.

Abstract
A cylinder retraction system causes a crawler side frame hoisting hydraulic cylinder, swingably suspended on a ventral surface side of a lower boom, to swing between a retracted attitude, in which the hydraulic cylinder is set along a ventral surface of the lower boom, and an operating attitude, in which the hydraulic cylinder is oriented along a vertical direction. As the rod of the hydraulic cylinder, currently having the operating attitude, is contracted by a predetermined extent, the rod front end of the hydraulic cylinder is guided by the guiding portion until the hydraulic cylinder takes on the retracted attitude. As the hydraulic cylinder, currently having the retracted attitude, is extended by a predetermined extent, engagement between the rod front end of the hydraulic cylinder and the guiding portion is released so as to allow the hydraulic cylinder to take on the operating attitude.
