Abstract
The invention relates to a trace element solution for supplementing nutrients for anaerobic fermentation, in particular a biogas method, comprising at least one trace element and at least two complexing agents. Complexing agents are used which can (1) transport trace elements in complexed form over the cell membrane and (2) release the trace elements into the cell. The complexing agents can optionally be biologically degraded.

Abstract
The method according to the invention for microbial production of a certain product and methane comprises the following steps: a) generating a certain product from a certain substrate having a certain organism, the producer, in a bioreactor (2, 10), wherein metabolites, such as low-molecular alcohols, aldehydes and acids, hydrogen, and CO2 arise from the production of said product, and can have a suppressing effect on the generation of the product, b) generating methane by means of a methanogen, wherein at least one metabolite is broken down when generating the methane, and thereby removed from the bioreactor (2, 10), and the energy thereof is made usable.

Abstract
The invention relates to an agitator for a fermenter, to a fermenter and to a method for operating a fermenter. The agitator comprises an agitator shaft (12) which is placed according to the invention approximately at a right angle in the fermenter. The substrate present in the fermenter is thus circulated in horizontal planes, thereby allowing to adjust a plurality of layered decomposition levels. The agitator is preferably configured in such a manner that it can be withdrawn from the fermenter towards the top during operation, thereby eliminating the need for evacuating the fermenter for maintenance work on the agitator.
