Abstract

The invention relates to an electric motor, in particular a reluctance motor, comprising: an armature containing a magnetisable material, wherein the armature has a plurality of pole shoes; an actuator which is arranged and mounted movably with respect to the armature, contains a magnetisable material and has at least two magnetisable pole ends; and an even number of coils, which are arranged between the pole shoes and whose windings surround the armature in such a way that the coils extend regionally along the armature such that the armature is magnetisable with the aid of the coils. The invention also relates to a method for producing an electric motor, in particular a reluctance motor, in which an even number of coils is applied to an armature containing a magnetisable material, wherein the coils are arranged between a multiplicity of pole shoes, with the result that the windings of the coils surround the armature in such a way that the coils extend regionally along the armature, and an actuator containing a magnetisable material comprising at least two pole ends is mounted movably with respect to the armature. Finally, the invention also relates to the use of such an electric motor, in particular such a reluctance motor, for driving a movement of an apparatus or of part of an apparatus.
