Abstract

A method for inducing antibacterial peptides in an insect by damaging the insect is disclosed, wherein the damaging is performed by irradiation of a laser beam, in such a manner that the laser beam penetrates the insect's epidermis to make a hole in the insect without causing irreparable damage to the insect, so that antibacterial peptides is induced in the insects. An apparatus for inducing antibacterial peptides in a body of an insect by the disclosed method is also provided, the apparatus including a CO2 laser irradiation unit, a position information acquisition means for obtaining a position information of the insect, and a means for transmitting the insect position information obtained by the position information acquisition means to the CO2 laser irradiation unit. Use of a CO2 laser in a method for inducing antibacterial peptides in the insect's body by making holes that penetrate the insect's epidermis is also disclosed.

Abstract

The present invention provides an air conditioner which is easy to move and install, can efficiently send cold air or the like to a space to be air-conditioned, and does not interfere with work or the like. This movable air conditioner has a use-side heat exchanger (12) and a heat-source-side heat exchanger (22), wherein a duct (35) for guiding air to a space to be air-conditioned is connected to an air outlet (16) of a housing (11) from which air cooled or heated by the use-side heat exchanger (12) is blown out, and wherein the duct (35) is provided with a first bent pipe part (36) for changing the direction of the duct (35) so that air flows upward from the air outlet (16), a second bent pipe part (38) for changing the direction of the duct so that the air is blown out toward the air-conditioned space, and a contraction pipe part (37) for narrowing the flow passage area of the duct (35). As a result, the air conditioner can be easily moved and installed, can blow cold air or the like strongly from a duct blowout port (39) located at a high position to send the air to the space to be air-conditioned, and does not hinder work or the like.

Abstract

The present invention pertains to a selling price calculation device and a selling price calculation system with which it is possible to calculate a selling price that is perceived as being low by consumers and is appropriate for dealers. A price collection unit (22) collects the selling prices of a product in brick-and-mortar stores or a product in virtual stores on a network (3), and a lowest value identification unit (24) identifies a reference price for that product from the selling prices collected for that product by the price collection unit (22). A selling price determination unit (25) identifies a price change parameter value from a dealer for the product for which the selling prices have been collected, and changes the selling price from the reference price identified by the lowest value identification unit (24) to a value which is obtained by means of a prescribed calculation using the identified price change parameter value, and is then set as the selling price when the dealer sells the product.

Abstract

In order to provide an outside air processing device with which air having a lower temperature and lower humidity than the outside air can be supplied to the interior of a room by means of a simple configuration, an outside air processing device is equipped with: an air supply passage (13) that takes in outside air and supplies the outside air to the interior of a room; a desiccant rotor (25) that removes moisture from the air flowing in this air supply passage (13); a first sensible heat exchanger (27) that performs a sensible heat exchange between the dehumidified air and outside air; a divider unit (31) that divides the air which has undergone a sensible heat exchange into two streams; a humidifier (33) that humidifies one of the divided streams of air; and a second sensible heat exchanger (35) that cools the other divided stream of air by performing a sensible heat exchange between the humidified air and this other stream of air. The air that is cooled by the second sensible heat exchanger (35) is supplied to the interior of the room.
