Abstract

A device for measuring and monitoring the surfaces of cavities, and process for using the same, to improve the projection of the deviations measured. The device comprises a housing in which are disposed at least three prisms, means for the 3D measurement of the surface of the cavity and a control unit connected to the 3D measurement means; the control unit comprises a processor to calculate the deviation between a predetermined cavity surface and a number of points in the cavity measured by the 3D measurement means, projection means connected to the control unit to project said deviation; the control unit generates graphic information on the 3D deviation calculated that is projectable onto the surface of the cavity by the projection means. The process entails positioning, measuring, calculating the 3D deviation and generating the graphic information to project the deviation.

Abstract

The invention relates to a device for protecting against the scouring of granular fillings submerged in gravity structures in which a filling (4) with granular materials must be deposited once the structures are submerged, so that the structures reach a weight sufficient to ensure the stability thereof against the actions to which they are subjected. The device consists of one or more porous covers (1) that sit and/or are secured as an upper closure of the structure (3) to protect the inner filling (4), each of the covers having a plurality of openings (11) that are distributed on the surface thereof and have a size suitable to allow the passage of the filling material (4), which filling material is transferred to the inside of the structure (3) simply by pouring until a height close to the cover (1) is reached, leaving a margin or chamber (5) between the two that is suitable for generating an internal turbulence that dissipates wave energy and incident currents, thereby making it difficult for the filling material to escape from the inside through the openings (11).

Abstract

Gravity-based foundation for offshore wind turbines, which is manufactured using floating-dock technology and is constituted by a circular-section caisson (1), which is made lighter internally by means of hollow cells (11, 12, 13), and which is closed at the top by means of one or more covers (16), the central cell (13) of which is extended in the form of a mast (2) made from post-tensioned concrete, to which the metal tower (4) supporting the wind turbine is connected. The cells (11, 12, 13) of the caisson are filled with a solid ballast (8) with the aim of lowering the centre of gravity of the caisson, such that the design of the foundation overall enables the latter to be towed and sunk to the seabed offshore without the need for special craft or the use of additional buoyancy means, such that at every stage the conditions of naval stability are sufficient.
