The invention relates to a perforated instrument holder for instruments for use in sterile preparation, having a perforated holder support structure with a multiplicity of perforated holder openings, having a top side facing the instruments and a perforated holder support structure bottom side facing away from the instruments, having at least one device which is positionable at different selectable locations on the top side coming from the top side of the perforated holder support structure and which serves to store one or more instruments in an intended arrangement on the perforated instrument holder, the device comprising a base part and an instrument bearing part releasably fastenable thereto, the base part being releasably securable to the perforated holder support structure. For simple assembly of the device, it is proposed that the base part comprises a main limb placeable against the top side of the perforated holder support structure and two mutually opposing side limbs adjoining the main limb laterally, that using the side limbs of the base part as a starting point, at least one flexible tongue is formed in each case and these flexible tongues, starting from the side limbs of the base part, extend in the direction of the perforated holder support structure and are resiliently deflectable vis-à-vis the side limbs such that the base part is positionable with its main limb on the top side of the perforated holder support structure, in such a way that the at least one flexible tongue engages in a perforated holder opening in a manner engaging therebehind, and that the opposing flexible tongue is then deflected merely by the exertion of a compressive force on the base part in the direction of the top side of the perforated holder support structure and independently penetrates into a further perforated holder opening in the process and latches there with an edge region delimiting the perforated holder opening such that the base part is fastenable to the perforated holder support structure in captive fashion without tools.
